Amaziing support from Brentford fans this season. Makes going too a game that much more special. Those that don’t sing, get your lungs working and help make the ground a fortress. COYB.

We need to generate the same atmosphere on Sunday as we did last night.

You tell it makes a massive difference to the players.

When Thompson made that challenge on Jesus the roar from the crowd gave him and the team a reel lift and it helped calm his nerves and from then on he put in a man of the match performance.

No coincidence there aren’t any Sunday games in those big atmospheres.

Best (home) atmospheres so far this season (IMHO):

1 Chelsea (PL)
2= Arsenal/Liverpool
4 Man City
5 Watford

I would love a fortress every game but like VFTB has said unless it's 100% effort every game the norm is Sunday 2pm are flat. Real shame because they've been our more important games like Sundays game.

Just a thought but if everyone on here who has said its flat went out earlier and made lots of noise , it wouldn't be :sorted:

i just had a thought, if we start using the Fulham style " happy Clappy " things, we could have a list of songs ( with words ) printed on them , the order to be determined by the players during the week at a training session, if that goes well maybe a drum can be added for A class games . ( Anyone got links to a printing firm ? )

im my opinion a great idea , might even wake up the North Stand as ive not heard them yet this season:cry:

ok any chance of the old chant " we are the west stand " then " we are the south stand " East and North ... chant going round all four stands in turn i know North would struggle , and East hhmmm , lets get it going against Villa :owusu:

It's bloody hard work at times in the North Stand though but will continue to try and gee up those around me continuing Sunday "where's your Grealish gone?...." etc :)
