Been reading the Bees website
same old sh*te,
Some international match is being staged at GP between 2 sides who probably wouldn't be fit enough to grace the Conference league.
No new players in on loan Leroy still employed by BFC
Might as well go back to my Footy management game, at least i win now and then:sad:

Love him or loathe him but at least when MA was at the helm the official website was worthwhile checking.

Agreed its a waste of time no interviews no updates no way near as good as the MA years. No injury updates transfer news nothing. Its a shame but the GPG gives more news!

You are correct, in your points, but one of the first statements Leroy made, was that he was not going to be the same type of manager that MA was, indeed I believe he said he was not going to communicate via the interweb like MA.

I'd prefer if he concentrated on team matters and left communication to another club employee

GPG is a better source of news if you believe Gary Whaddock should be our next manager.

Also to his credit Leroy does give updates they are just very down to earth, not particularly exciting and don't contain metaphors about his garden.

I disagree with your paticular comments but I am 100% behind you in your sentiment. I used to look at the board every day and liked the daily updates. I know a lot of people are still sore at how MA cocked up last year and then left so they slag of his daily messages.I used to enjoy seeing some new news every single day. Whether it be his opinion on a juniors game, a players injury, a personal message to a fan who the club were helping out, a plea for help to a needy fan, news of when whit was scouting, a brief run down of what preperation the players were putting in before a game. I know a lot of people hated all the PMA and somtimes BS that he fed us with but I used to feel something was always going on and I felt really informed and part of it.

I have never felt so far away from ths club in my life. it is a closed book as far as I am concerned. The OS is a waste of space.

lol Remember who we had just lost too when Maddus came in!! We were down, we had all resigned ourselves to that fact, we were just hoping that MAYBE he could get us back the next year..............

What did we get? Two years of Fifth round, and two years of POs.... yeah, that will happen again soon!! :cry:

ps.. Sir Steve of Coppell ranks up there as one of THE BEST for me aswell... but I just cannot believe how many people come out and say MA wasn't amazing for this club..... we all know he was looking elsewhere, but I am talking about his record, nothing else.

Spot on. Not faultless but look at the achievements. Add to that the amount of money he made in cup runs, increased gates and player sales.
Ok, people go on about an overspend on some players contracts that we are stuck with, but when you balance it against the money he made! Anyway..who's fault is it really that he overspent, MA for asking for it or the people that gave it to him?

Anyway..back to point of this thread...

I looked at the O/S to see how the juniors got on in the cup. No mention at all..all we have is some adverts for christmas...no real surprise:(
