Went in today for a gander round, got to say, the quality on offer is pretty poor. I really hope Joma pick it up next season because I don’t think much of what’s in there justifies the price tag. Football merchandise rarely does in fairness, but ours especially.

The quality of the match day and training items are pretty average, but the designs and colour choices on top are pretty awful. When you look at what Adidas and Nike are offering to other Premier League clubs, I’m surprised Joma have got away with half of the tat in there.
It’s always going to be the case unfortunately. Adidas and Nike wear, are always going to be superior. It’s a shame because the training stuff would be so much better had it been adidas or Nike, I can’t imagine we sell many. How long have we got Joma for?

The power of marketing :)
Can't deny that Joma haven't really taken their chance here, though.
Not sure it was ever mentioned that there was any multi-year deal or anything (although it'd be weird if it was just one year).
I'm sure we'll get the usual BFC update around mid-August with a tease of our new totally random away kit - maybe purple, we haven't been subjected to that yet have we...

It was described as a "multi-year deal" for what that's worth
Maybe the club have the option to terminate early at some stage(s) but would rather keep the details vague?

A lack of other merch might suggest that Joma aren't sure to be in it for the long haul. I wonder if their range is any better at Norwich.

I have to agree. Still can't get a simple car sticker, there's only 4 scarves to select from, 137 different baseball caps but only 6 half decent red/white/black bobble/beanies.

I got an Oxford and Cambridge polo for Christmas that I earmarked to wear for playing golf. 6 holes in and it had sandpapered my nipples to flat, bloody stumps. Try not to imagine a pasty, overweight 50-something applying his mate's blister plasters to his sore nipples on the 7th tee. Oh, too late, you've imagined it now.....
If your shirt has six holes in it you should be able to get a refund.

That's turned me on a little bit 🤣

Re: the amazing Adidas, I've just received this local advertising mail for sparta prague, this is hardly amazing stuff... and the exchange rate is 30ish to 1, so that's a £60 polo, or £75 for the jacket or the other shirt. They're just a name, they're no better.1000024988.jpg

Fair enough. Although outside of football I’ve bought plenty of good quality and nice Adidas clothing and training wear, I can’t say I will be buying any Joma stuff

Villa, Arsenal, Fulham…their range is a lot better than ours and all with Adidas.

Kits, training tops, they’re never all going to be perfect, some will look “alright”, the problem is that most of our stuff is pretty horrendous. The training tops for example look like a knock off even Sports Direct would turn down.

I can’t remember who makes their gear, but the prices in the Barcelona shop in Salou were absolutely eye watering.
I don’t think our stuff is that bad in all honesty, and it’s not pants down pricing.

Went in today to get a small footy for my nephew and the guy in the store was proper on it. Stopped what he was doing, gave me his attention (was the only one in the shop) and all round good bloke. I worked in retail for a good 15 years and was impressed with the service. Top job

As my Son has lost his Bees one (or rather some teenagers ran off with it). I'm in search for new one, how much are they charging and is it the red one?

249p charge to collect your online order from the store!
@BIAS please get this cancelled. What utter sh*t.
Not defending it at all and personally agree that charges should not be passed to the customer, however the reasoning as I understand it is as follows:

When you order on-line you are not buying from the club-shop, but from a fulfilment centre somewhere in the midlands.
They then charge the club to dispatch the order to the club shop for pickup.

Great eh ?

The likes of Screwfix do the same without charging the customer. The club should look at it as an extra opportunity to get people through the door and possibly make an impulse purchase while they're there.

Yes, John Lewis, M&S, Clarks all do. I work in Kingston so regularly pick things up on my lunch break.

I'm not sure we can compare the economies of scale between Screwfix/John Lewis and the Brentford club shop. 🙂

Sounds like an issue for the club to sort, not pass on the buck to the fans.

Sorry I missed this one! Was about £9 and it was a Joma one with a Brentford badge on it. Mainly white and black

Sigh. Having waded through the 200+ sale items to find 2 or 3 reasonable ones (with size still available) for my girls, i went to place an order for £90 worth of stuff to be delivered to a uk address where I'll be staying next month...

Only for the shop to pop up at the last moment to say actually one of the items wasn't in "sufficient levels of" stock. As we were only ordering two, that means they only had one i suppose. What a load of crap. Can't be bothered with the rest of the order now.

Well my Mum just ordered a kids 3rd kit for my Son and was charged for two, so she complained and was sent three of them!

With stock control like that, it's no surprising they run out of stuff unexpectedly

Maybe but I have never had any trouble using the shop and have always found the staff really polite

The new physical store on Lionel Road South is impressive enough, it seems to me that the real sh*tshow is online.
They are different entities.

This apparent AI text on the page many fans would be rushing to to see the first new kit of the season. "It is more than just appeal" ??

Can the club not afford to pay someone to write something a bit less crap?

Random merchandise moan. Don’t buy one of these unless you’ve the patience of an absolute saint. This isn’t Lego obviously. The pieces are about a quarter the size of Lego bricks and the instructions are bare bones. Not one for anyone who’s vision isn’t 20:20.

There’s about a million tiny pieces. Managed the first page within about an hour. Absolutely rage inducing 😂 Maybe give it to a Fulham fan that you despise

Sorry have not had time to read through previous posts. Does anyone know if it’s possible to return a top that has had a players name printed on?

Didn’t get a chance to try it and have realised that Joma comes in smaller than I thought.

Thanks!

It states online no refunds for personalised items.

Bit of signage as to what are male, female and junior shirts wouldn’t go a miss. Basic retail stuff.
