Highly unusual, normally buy a bottle of coke and its fine. Never get checked before if carrying a bottle and get told to remove.
HOWEVER, I imagine it may be down to the coin throwing the other week - we may have been reported, and although we can't stop coins being carried, the club can stop bottle lids.
