May suit Sergi, with effectively two Centre forwards playing, he can play his natural game on his natural wing and focus on supplying balls into the box from the right for Toney and Forss to latch onto.

Also surprised that Emiliano isn’t playing this game resting one of Da Silva or Jensen although with five subs likely he will come on before an hour is out,

May be more like a 4-4-2 as Sergi is much better coming from a deeper position. We don't score much without Emiliano on the pitch, though (¾ of our goals this season).

Will be interesting to see how Sergi does in that front three. Mbeumo will need to be rotated at times during this upcoming run (along with everyone else) and I'd rather us be proactive on that front rather than reactive.

Hopefully it will work, but our main back four and Janelt is the important thing against a good attacking side.

Be interesting to see how Sergi gets on on his more favoured right side. Will be a surprise for Blackburn as they'll have been working on pushing Mbeumo onto his right. Slightly surprised with no change to midfield as JDS looked out of sorts in midweek but glad Dalsgaard is back. Blackburn starting without Holtby and Brereton who'd been doing well on the wing..

Bit of an odd game so far. Blackburn look vulnerable at the back but our passing hasn't been great so far. Highlighted by a dreadful free kick where both Jensen and DaSilva hit the first man and they broke.. Canos looking bright though, seems to be space on the wings..

Canos made a weak attempt at the start of the run, then he walked by Jensen (probably the biggest culprit) Janelt, Da Silva and then Pinnock. Raya should've probably done better too.

We have been really really poor again,

same pattern as the last however many games.

we pass around at the back then kick it off or lob it straight to their centre backs.

20 mins in, no football at all from us.

Blackburn playing around the midfield with ease and then a piss piss piss poor goal and their bloke walks through 4 non challenges to score.

Why have we stopped passing, all we do it mess about at the back and then give it away. Our football we are famous for has completely gone

Based on how the players were set up, we weren't used to the idea that someone might just run at us...everyone was set up to block off a possible pass, and was then one step too far away to be able to challenge the man.

We need to adjust to that possibility. It was a good goal from their point of view though.
