On the detailed stats page (official website) we had NO shots on target, all game but won 1-0

Great start to the season!
Bit lucky to get the three points TBH a draw would have been fairer but great to get a look at some of our new signings. Personal opinion is that Kuffour looked pretty ordinary (although for some reason he was playing on the left with Rhodes partnering Willock up front) and Heywood is going to be a big weakness if we can't find him a pacy partner. Also Rhodes is still failing to convince and at times today we looked toothless.
On the positive side Pinault showed flashes of imagination, Charles was good, Skulason put his foot in and Masters overcame a nervy start to put in a great performance between the sticks. Tomlin was also very impressive- looked to have very quick feet.
Overall you could see there were teething problems and we failed to build any real pressure on Blackpool but the signs are there that the team could develop. At least we are trying to play proper football.
PS. Willock is still sh*te
PPS. What the f**k was the fourth official doing adding six minutes at the end of a pretty well behaved 90?
