Am I just worried that Andrew Mills and God (Matthew Benham) are so fair removed. If (as an example) Martin Allen was involved, the hype, the drama, the posing walk at Charlton, I would be so depressed. Andy has a big ego, that no one wants.

Don't think so. We needed a win tonight and however well we played in the second half I am pretty pissed off with a draw. We have needed to bring in players since Nov if we were going to challenge for the play-offs. The Saunders experiment masked it for a while, but since his injury we have pretty much hit a wall again. We need a nippy goalscoring striker and a combative midfielder who can take control of games. I think Scott has tried to do this, but he now needs to succeed. No doubt some will start up the Scott out stuff again, but it ain't going to happen - and shouldn't. Apart from anything else it is just so bloody unimaginative!! Night night folks. Up the Bees!!

Just on way back (missed the goal!) not good, not good at all. Scott needs to go-we will only continue to stagnate under him.

I have a mate who's a Bolton fan. He didn't care less about the size of Big Sam's ego so long as Bolton were doing well.
My problem with Andy Scott is that he just ain't delivering. He can play players out of position if it gets the results (and some decent football) but it doesn't.

I have got to say that despite our late equaliser I am feeling so deflated - despite the positive second half comments onBeesPlayer, I do not feel upbeat at all - some "nice" footie but no real cutting edge - and always threatened by pace (as always!!!!!!) on the break!!!

243 bees fans who are browsing this tread at home. I will read the interview tomorrow and it it will be "simple mistakes that let us down, we run through during training but simple mistake let us down". I am not going because the football is poor. I want the ball on the ground and players trying. I want the same 11 each week in position. If someone is injured, get someone in who wants to fight for his place. If the football is good, then fine, if we lose - fine but where is the direction. Crowds are down and I wouldn't take one of my friends to watch a game.

Which confirms what the problem is. Where are the goals going to come from? This team isn't significantly different to the one that had more league games than goals to its name early in the season. By failing to address the striker issue, someone (presumably the manager) has settled for mid-table mediocrity this season.
To sack AS would have the desirable outcome of a desperate need to start fresh, but on the other hand I couldn't stomach the smirking and laughing from Claridge, Rosenior et al on The Football League Show if we were to do so. The ideal would have been for one of the Championship clubs to fill their managerial vacancy with him. He could move on. We could move on. I think Scotty has gone stale here and the team seems to have gone stale IMO. The days when we would go 1 down and still be realistically confident we could get three points out of the game are gone.
Furthermore, isn't your post and the strong words early on any less keyboard gladiatorial?

Can't believe some of the comments on here. Exeter will not fancy it on Monday after that second half. A shame about the slip at the begining, but the pitch was in an awful state. I'm more hopeful of a visit to Wembley after that performance than I was before it. Come on you Bees!

not as bad a crowd as i expected, and crowd in second half had some good moments to savour. fair result cause we were s..t in first half.
their goal was direct result of a slip in the soft conditions. couldnt see from my position who scored our scrambled goal. hit post and crossbar
and......there was not one hoof.....wow....but they cannot pass accurately enough, certainly not as accuratly as exeter. probably in the course of re learning that skill.
overall, improved in the second half and will go out monday night sufficiently confident to make a good game of it.....worth going to GP to cheer them on. thats what they need so get down there. it's set to be a real cup tie. dont watch it on box

Much much better, worked very hard and played some tidy stuff, thought it was a very one sided game and deserved to win. Usual disappointing subs though which caused us to lose momentum, should have swapped Charlie and Alexander with forster and Simpson but instead bought both strikers on and played them both on the wing. Fancy us to do them over two legs but its a cup and u just never know. Will be a completely different game I think
