I was wondering exactly the same. Unless I missed it, we had our 1,000th debutant at some point over the last three years without marking the occasion. It would be good to know who it was.

I'm pretty sure we did focus on the countdown to the 1,000th signing, got a feeling it was around Halil time, but I'm sure some on here could track that down better than me?

Henrik Dalsgaard, what a legend . I would’ve loved to see him play in the Premier League for us. But if he had, maybe Sergi would’ve have scored that goal.

I fondly remember his header away at the Notts Florists that gave us one of our regular victories over them.

My usual partner on crime couldn't go to the game. Had the pleasure of standing with an ex New Roader who used to sit a few rows away from me. What are the chances? Not sure if he posts on here but it was a pleasure to take yesterday in, reminisce on old times and share our gratitude for where Brentford are today.
The game itself...love how we saw out injury time especially Janelts late burst..that itself must have used up a good minute or so.
Another group I know took in Gtech for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it. Girl I know was on her own but said it was great to be sat amongst some great families and lovely people enjoying the game.
Maybe not a game for the ages yesterday but I loved the general vibe around the ground. Happiness really is real when it is shared.

Comments about injury time are right on the money. We managed that so well, must've been infuriating for Notts. I reckon there would've been 3 mins of "ball in play" time in those 10.

The west Stand was great tonight.

Receiving a video of Ivan’s free kick preparation at half time and laughing about it whilst thinking ‘this didn’t used to happen against Grimsby back in the 90’s’. Match will also be remembered for not getting on with the choice of Forest’s strip yesterday. Maybe I’m color blind but that’s the worst clash of kits I can ever remember.
Big up also to the Forest wall for that free kick. Defended that like a bunch of ten year olds. Hilarious as well. Another moment we’ll all remember for years. Great night out - haven't been in touch with my Forest mate yet but we'll no doubt chat about all this over a beer sometime. A great thing about being in this league is having different people you know (I know) who support our opposition almost every week. Time to beat Spurs again. My favourite match last season.

Ha! I will always love all of our players - even Eddie. But we used to think someone was a touch of class if they could competently trap a throw in and return it to the taker. Nice to remind yourself how spoilt we've been the last few years sometimes!

It is funny cos its true. I still cant get my head round it. We are constantly "w***ing around with it" at the back then doing crazy control passes etc, but they actually know what they are doing. Not sure I will ever truly get to grips with the beauty of it all as my formative years, like most of us, were not like that!

Maupay's goal for me and the wind up after. The over reaction to Toney's free kick has kept me entertained today in my spare moments though ?

Me and my son were sat in the North stand up close to the away fans. They were giving Toney some real stick right up until that goal. When that went in, it was a like a great big 'silence blanket' had been dropped on them. It was beautiful.

Personal one, but taking my teenage nephew to his first Brentford game. He'd not shown much interest in the Bees until this season (!) so it was an honour to baptise him to the joys of being in the West stand. He'd done his research and joined in with the chants. Think we'll definitely be seeing him back again. He left the ground talking about 'us' and 'we' regarding Brentford.

Loved Maupay winding up Forest post-goal with the hand Neal. And then our players pulling him back!

Other than that, definitely the Gtech prize stitch up: row 13, seat 69!

Champagne moment for me - definitely the Toney freekick
Florist fans were buzzing after their goal and it felt so frustrating to be behind early on (not to mention the constant stream on Toney 'banter') only for Toney to kill their mood with a wonderfully placed freekick that blissfully curled into the bottom corner and helping us start our much deserved comeback

I am colour blind and it was fine. Not like many other matches though.
