Only seen highlights of Reading this season which seems to consist of them attacking at pace and scoring for fun. Missing two of their key players is significant and they had a really poor run of form not long ago. Not sure if they can play for a point so I fancy us to pick them off but we will need to be quick and to double-up when necessary. 2-0 with Pontus scoring from a corner and Bryan bangs one in from 25 yards to wrap it up. We are a better all-round side than them.

....agree....without those two....and I really rate them both....they really don't have an edge.....2/3-0 us....no point in naming goalscorer anymore.

They are missing 7 players currently on that basis they did pretty well against Norwich IMO. I’m still hoping for a 2-0 win for us at least. Bryan to find his scoring boots in this game as well. :)

I think they did quite well against Norwich, they have a good squad, 3 forwards injured and they still have Baldock who is not bad,
just think if we had Toney,Forss and one other injured we would be playing youngsters.

It is the permanent smile which rankles with me. It does nt match the reality of what is going on around him. It suggests confidence but how can he be?

Clubs write reports don't they, he must have had so many bad ones, I tend not to take too much notice of referees after all
every fan thinks the ref was rubbish, but this guy really seems to have an issue with us, which I expect will only continue,
I forgot he was the one who sent Rico off at Swansea when no one other than him and the Swansea manager thought it
was a sending off, the guy is a disgrace!

Stats from ‘Hobnob anyone’. 43 years since Reading kept a clean sheet in Brentford. Also, it’s 3 years and umpty games since Stroud actually reffed a win for them!

Thomas has been getting a bit vexed lately so expect him to be sent to the stands at some point. Based on the theory that Stroud will not wish to repeat his Sheffield United exploits and send off a second player we take the opportunity to kick the crap out of Reading unpunished for the last half hour.
