We won 17-1.

Eriksen with 6 free kicks and JDS got himself 10 from midfield.

Jensen scored an OG.

We also had 43 goalkeepers on the bench and 1 Trialist.

Though remember it took 19 days for JDS to get from 45 mins behind close doors to 10 mins off the bench mins in the FA Cup? (Mon 17th Jan to Sat 5th Feb) :sneakoff:
I know CE was already training for a while but just before anyone decides he is definitely scoring the winner at Arsenal.

Good point, but I think their situations, are quite different. Main one being that rushing JDS back could cause an injury set back. With CE, I think it's more about making sure he's fit and sharp enough to play in the PL. There's less of a risk involved with, say, bringing him on with 10-15 mins to go against Arsenal, especially if we need a goal.

In part, but he wasn't fit enough for the bench against Wolves.

Don't worry. I'm happy to be persuaded that this is a different situation and he could be ready a lot sooner.

Looking at the Southend defence for that goal, I think even I could have managed that pass!!!! ?
