Brentford are just so lucky that Bournemouth and Hartlepool are just as crap as we are. We'd embarass ourselves in the Championship with this side. Can't see us picking up the required points, if we can't get points against Huddersfield and Bradford what chance against Hull.

Wrexham still not down and to be honest I cant see us getting anything there.....so its all down to home win over Hull I reckon.

Ugarte got 3 more today for Rectum.....if we'd had him upfront all year we'd have been home and dry by April 1.

Like has been said above, we are simply not good enough to go up. To be honest I can't understand how the hell we're still in with a shout!
Compared to the previous years that we've ended up in the play-offs, it just doesn't feel like we have had a good enough season to merit it. In the past its felt like win after win with bags of goals being scored, whereas this year we seem to struggle to string a few together especially recently. Come to think of it, maybe it was that FA cup run tiring our players out thats led to this end of season blip?
I don't want to be labelled as a pessimist- I for one think that we have a more than decent chance of doing well in the play-offs and going up- but if we were to go up it would be a miserable year. I would rather go up when we can have a stab at staying up. No disrespect to any of our current team who I think have by-and-large been exceptional this year but I think we need a 20 a season striker if we seriously want to entertain ambitions of going up and staying up. Like matt says above, if only we had Ugarte!

Its Allen whose got us this far but he obviously can't get that extra drop of blood out of this particular stone. If we went up we would need to strengthen half the team and we already struggle to find players for this division. We are not ready or prepared or good enough if we want more than one season upstairs. I'd like to see more young players next season if we can get them and build a team around a few older players rather than the Darby and Joan club we seem to be developing half the time.

Good post icemonkey, as I've said all season we have missed a 20 goal a season man. But whatever happens Martin Allen and the squad have done us proud. Martin has never offered our injuries as an excuse, but with such an inexperienced squad it has taken its toll. Rhodes, Hunt Dobbo, Hargreaves Talbot playing patched up. Eddie Hutch ahd Jamie Lawrence, all these have been long term injuries, but from management to the fans none of us offered this as an excuse. It's not over yet, bring it on lets go for broke. Martin and the boys thanks you done us proud. This time last season we staved off relegation on the last day. Bookies favorites for the drop this year.
The one thing that ****ed me off, was arseholes from Hartlepool, Blackpool Luton and Tranmere coming on our boards telling us how sh*te we were. My message to you ***** is **** off, its great to support the bees. Onwards and upwards.
