Owusu missed two of the biggest i've ever seen. I'm still laughing at the thought of them both.
First one he rounded the keeper after a mix up, and somehow managed to shoot about twenty yards wide of an open net. Luckily for him his blushes were spared slightly when the ref had already pulled up for a latics free kick.
2nd one. Probably in the last five minutes. Mix up at the back again. lobbed the keeper and all he had to do was head it straight and he put it wide somehow!
Brentford had a penalty claim not long after you got your 2nd. Overhead kick and our guy didnt know much about it. Would have been very harsh if it was given.
Our penalty was well taken. Liddell doing an Aldridge type shuffle before slotting home.
Brentford have been dubbed Pink Army by us in the Lookers. The Chant went up from our fans "Pink Army" for the 4 or so brentford fans all sat together wearing pink lol lol
I thought your equaliser was a foul. Will Haining got flattened before sodje even got the header and Day was obstructed. Haining is now injured once again
The Pink Army's celebrations, especially the 4 were funny when you scored. taking there tops off and waving it over there heads! Very brave in that weather
Overall I thought it was a boring game but you edged it. Sodje should have been sent off in the 1st half for his challenge on Branston. Thankfully for him neither the ref or his assistants saw it.
Could have been a very different if he;d gone. He got a very hostile reception when he got tickled and down like a sack of spuds. He tip toed off twenty yards when he could have walked three yards off behind his own goal. Two seconds later when he was off, without even so much as a magic sponge he was running about like his usual self.
