Bees vs Palace prediction

Big game, we have a good chance to pick up some very welcome points. We did pretty good against City and perhaps on another night we might've even nicked a point, not the drubbing many expected. I hope we carry some of that confidence and playing ability into this game.

Our last clean sheet was in November against a very poor Everton side. Sorry, but don't see any chance of one against them. I think we will let at least one in. The key thing is we show the same intensity as last night. This is by no means a gimme - Palace can be very dangerous, so this won't be gung ho. Would actually like to see Bryan and Saman up front, as I think we'll play better. Toney on the bench if fit. Keep the ball better and no rickets would be good.

Would like a 2-1 win, but a point wouldn't be a disaster.

1-1 for me.

1-0. Just need to avoid the careless mistakes. They cost us the two goals last night. Could only hear the Brentford fans on tv.

Although the bee in me is desperate for a win. Going for either a 1-1, or failing that a Palace win.

Good performance against City, but we’ve seen it before when we play well against top sides and fail to produce against those around us. They have some real quality players in their side.

So yeah 1-1, or 1-3 Palace

That's true outside of the premier league. I think they'll also be going for the win.... Could be an entertaining game. Heart says 3-1 Bees, head says 1-1.

I wouldn't say that it's a must win game, but for me most definately a must not lose game. So probably a draw.

Didn't Norwich and Burnley both get their first PL wins of the season against us?

14 games left to the season, and only 7 where we realistically look on paper as having a chance of getting some points (Palace, Newcastle, Norwich, Burnley, Watford, Everton, Leeds)

This is a must win game otherwise we are well and truly in the relegation scrap, even though some people refuse to believe that.

With regards to result I'm conflicted. I really want us to win, but recent form has us losing this

Happy with 3 points however it comes.
Going forwards they are a threat but there back line isn't anything special. Keep it tight, find a way through. 1-0

Don't think most people have ever thought we are not in a relegation scrap. We have been since the first day of the season. It will go to the wire!

I predict a more proactive, less backs-to-the-wall approach, more akin to the way we started against United and Wolves. Especially as we further ease in JDS and, sooner or later, CE. I’m expecting more style, dynamism, possession and cohesion. Can’t be there to help ??, frustratingly, as I have a reunion this weekend (having missed the last two home games through Covid). ? 2-1 Bees.

We need to be at 100% concentration at the back. Leave the door open and they will punish us and are especially dangerous on the flanks. 0-0 for me although if Ivan and Bryan are fully fit we could edge it. There is always the Eriksen 35 yard free kick in the 97th minute of course.
