I have managed to get to more matches this season, however this it not always possible. A big thank you to Marky, Chris, Geoff and the rest of the commentators for keeping me in touch with my team. Looking forward to next season and more of the same.

Yes, I agree totally, Mark.
We all consider it a privilege to talk about the Bees to all those listeners on Beesworld, plus ,of course, the dear old blind folk at Griffin Park.
At times, of course, it can be tough, especially if we have to describe a woeful performance or, for example, a missed Brentford penalty that cost us a place in a play-off final ( for once, we were speechless!). And there were moments during the Rosenoir and Butcher days when I feared you were going to call The Samaritans hotline!
This season, however, has been a real pleasure indeed, as we have seen a rapidly emerging team, against the odds, playing some delightful football with great character and tenacity.It has been a real honour to have the opportunity to describe some of this!
A big thank you to all of you who listen in . We greatly appreciate it!

i would like to add my thanks to all at Beesworld. When I haven't been able to get to matches it has been great to listen to Beesworld, get comments from commentators and messages from fans read out and almost feel I'm there. The commentators are all very professional and have my grateful thanks. Well done all of you.:wave:

Well done, really the next best thing to being there. You gave a mention to my son on Saturday. He was listening to Beesworld from Hong Kong. At the same time I was on webcam with him so we were able to see each others reaction as the afternoon panned out. At the end I took the webcam upto the television (Sky) so he could watch the fed from Darlo and see the the players celebrating on the pitch. Aint technology brilliant.

It's a big thanks from the far reaches of cornwall the Markybee and the boys I only caught the last five games but it has helped to relieve some of the pressure listerning to the chaps describing the action well done all here's to next years adventures, at Southampton, Charlton and Possibly Leeds

Big thanks from Bournemouth too. for those of us unable to get to games its been a real pleasure to listen to the commentaries, despite Geoff's puns!! (Only joking!)

The coverage on Saturday was great...You lads captured the atmosphere superbly and anyone who couldn't get to the game must have felt they were virtually there!

Can I just reiterate what Brentford4 and the rest of the gpg'ers have said on this thread and that is a BIG thank you to Markybee, Chris, Geoff etc...for your excellent commentary on Beesworld on Saturday afternoons. As Brentford4 said looking forward to next season........:wave:

:sorted: I certainly missed my BeesWorld fix when I was away on holiday recently. Thanks to Marky, WEB and the rest of the commentary team - there are going to be some cracking fixtures to come next season. :sorted:

I must add my thanks to all the commentary team. I don't get to many games these days & dodgy internet connection permitting, I don't miss many games on Beesworld - the commentary from the boys is excellent.

I'd just like to echo the comments above and say a huge thanks again to Marky and all on Beesworld. It's been an amazing listen over the past few seasons, from the pain and bitter disappointment, experienced under former managers (albeit shrouded in a professional manner) the dramatic change in fortunes under Andy last year and now the utter elation on our recent success and joy in our performances this season.

One thing I'll never forget is the tragic loss of Graham Haynes, and the way Marky carried on knowing that something truly awful had happened. That was gutsy.

On a more positive note...I do hope you boys will be able to enjoy some slightly more professional and luxurious surroundings and facilities next season at away days which might just make your lives a little easier.

What about podcasting match commentaries and making them downloadable after the game for say £1 a go? Might make a few quid with relatively little or no costs? Just a thought. :D

Just wanted to add my thanks to everyone involved with bring Beesworld to us. Over here in Australia it is great to be able to get this great service as without it and the GPG we would get nothing about BFC as TV only shows the Premiership & Championship.

Must also add my thanks to Mark and the rest of the team.When I first retired 8 years ago and moved to California I really missed going to Griffin Park as I had been to most home games in the prevoius 40 years.We have been in Spain now for two years and over the majority of these years overseas Beesworld has really kept me in touch with the Bees,its certainly the next best thing to going to the matches and makes you still feel part of the Bees family.So keep up the great work lads in League 1 next season and
who knows the Championship the following season.

I totally agree with everything that has been said about Marky,WEB, geoff etc. God knows what I'm going to do this Saturday afternoon now.
For the small cost of £39 a year is it,?.It's a real snip at the price.
So once again, a big thankyou to all concerned at BeesWorld.

It's certainly going to be strange not listen to any commentary tomorrow now that the season is finished for us......
