Bernie Watson Flag

This message is being posted on behalf of John and Dan Loughton Bees.

If anyone was wondering why the Bernie Watson flag was not flying yesterday at the Mickey Mouse kingdom, a.k.a. Wycombe, this was because apparently it is a fire hazard and will only be allowed into Wycombe's ground with a Fire Certificate issued by the Fire Brigade!! But - why is Wycombe any different to the other 40 odd grounds (and Japan World Cup)? Answers on a postcard please. First correct answer wins a Wycombe FC season ticket. Quality stewarding, as usual, Wycombe! When you grow up, you could become traffic wardens.

Heah hear! And special thanks to the charming female WW steward who still insisted on being a total bit(h even after the significance of the flag had been explained to her.

Because they knew the 1500 odd that turned up would outsing and outnumber their woeful turnout, and any flags flying would just add insult to injury, especially since they got whopped by the boys in red and white!!!

Dangerous could have told them that flags were banned, his old one was refused permission a few years back. 1500?, how much did that stand hold, i thought it was 2500 capacity.

Many years ago at Wycombe I brought a bag of pre-cut paper in a bag to throw around when the players came out, can anyone guess if I was allowed to bring it in with me ?

Wycombe Wanderers, ex non league but still with the non league mentality. Pathetic 'little' club.

True, the sooner all non-league scum are out of the cup the better.

Is there a distinguishment between non-leauge and non-league scum? I hate the old non-league teams who havent attempted to do anything to make themselves leauge clubs ie colchester.

I like non-league teams if they get beaten by us in the third round and so on :D Nothing like ending a cup dream while saving our own club, I am so evil!

The stand holds around 2000-2500, that's what they spent their FA Cup run money on, so we can outsing them every time.

Can we plan for the next away game to get loads of drums and flags and so on and play them whenever we get a corner, or just whenever, I'm getting so pissed off with their drum over the tannoy cheating.

I would complain to the club if you explained the significance of the flag, that's not right.

We have always had problems with their stewards. They make Gold Range look Half decent.
Non league scum off our pitch.

Just like to add my disgust at the pettiness of the stewards. I was in front of John when one of the stewards said that he couldn't bring the flag in. Initially I thought he was joking, but he wasn’t. We then spent the next 10 minutes arguing with them and as a result missed our first two goals.

Cheers Wycombe for your usual warm welcome.

I've always hated Wycombe.

However, for a day of gentlemens fun, yesterday couldn't be beaten.
