Best ever kit?

This new kit business got me thinkin, what is everyones all-time favorite bees kit, home + away?

Personally, I've liked both the kit's we've lost the play off finals in, i.e. the thin black and white stripes and the navy with yellow trim.

Was never too keen on the light blue, and blue and white striped away kit's

I liked the adidas home shirt of 80-81 nad the skyblue with white fleckles away kit of 90-91 (Division 1 season) This seasons away kit is good too

I liked the dark blue and light blue one from 90/91 and 91/92.

Also the blue and white striped one.

TBH I like most of our kits, except the yellow one.

i thought last years blue and yellow kit was pretty, good!!! The quicker we get rid of this years black kit, the better!!!
I heard next years away kit is bright orange!!! A sort of Oxford colour?

Any chance of the club being able to make a replica of this one, or have adidas copywritten the "three stripes". Went to a Southampton game a few months back and they do a wide range of retro shirts that are more popular than the latest replicas.

Agreed. I think it's wonderful. Really pissed off it's being canned, particularly as I bought it for the missus for her birthday a few weeks ago...

I like the Wimbledonesque one, hate the yellow one, havent been a fan of any home ones for a while.

Generally, all of the home kits are the same, except for how far apart the stripes are placed, I personally liked the blue one from 1993 with the whites bits, or something

Quite liked the blue and white stiped away one but that reminds me too much of QR HA HA so thats out the windon liked last years away one failing that 1995's (i think) home one with Erricson as sponser, the one before the play-off final

I might be alone on this, but is there any mileage in bringing back the original Brentford Rowing Club colours of - I think - blue, gold and pink stripes for the Centenary Season in a modern style...just a thought.

That kit was superb,,,,saw some geezer at the Reading game last year wearing one....Also the green kit , I remember us wearing that at the Cottage that season.

The black and white striped away kit. Season we met Crewe in the playoffs. Must of been good 'cos I bought it and I dont buy many.
I think we won loads of away games that season. Must of been lucky. We should have kept it.

Not sure about my favourite kit (though it'd most likely be the 1999 promotion kit...nice), but I haven't liked this season's kit. I don't know why really, it just seems a bit plain and kind of sums up the lack of events on the pitch for me (I always was a strange boy). I take it we're having a new kit next season???

Best home shirt - Got to be '91/'92. Simplicity itself, and the thick black v-neck collar nicely harked back to the '60s.

Best away shirt - The one and only, light blue crazy one from '92/'93. Styletastic. How we got relegated that year mystifies, why didn't other sides recognise our fashion superiority and meekly submit? Alas, that miserable year still had something good to show for it, the best shirt in the history of Association Football.

has anyone got any pictures of the kit that never was. in the early/mid 90s i think when a yts lad paraded it round the ground, got booed and had stuff thrown at him cos the kit was so bad. it had a round neck with a v underneath and the stripes had black smudges on them. it didnt see the light of day in the end. i'm sure one of the newspapers (informer i think) had a picture of it.

other than adidas 81, i liked the osca top with the white top half and dhl logo. wore it when we lost to liverpool at home. cassells, mahoney, joseph etc wore it.
