Jon Champion on ITV has got to be the wosrt, he's so patronising and condersenting to smaller teams, espesially when there playing Man Ure, and his over the top idolising of paul Scholes.

Bill was indeed legend. What other comentator could get away with.

On the football side I really liked Jonathan Pearce on the radio and Motson on the telly. Bit annoying now though.

worst commentator i have been privy to was on a trip in majorca, a man who was the commentator and guide on the day out at the caves of drach.he looked like richard o brien in the rocky horror show and would say loads in german and french and occassionaly his pigeon english would allow 'the caves 200 steps down, 199 steps up' , 'to field the right' etc etc. only me and my two mates on the coach who were english but it was a good day out,he did terrible commentary on the whole day and he got mullered at the wine tasting factory on the way back!hahahaha!!

I can't stand commentators who go over the top in their pronnunciation of foreign names. Barry Davies is the worst, it's like he thinks he's clever or something. Where most people might pronounce Enrique as " Enreekay", he has to say "Honrrrikie". If you see what I mean??
