I've driven from Madrid to Barcelona and they're gonna be pretty knackered by the time they get there.

I'm well impressed with Danny Buck, under 16 manager, talking about the Barcelona game on Beesplayer. I reckon within 2 years we are going to start to see some serious talent knocking on the first team door. It's so important we maintain our Championship status the next couple of years because I honestly believe we will be the next Southampton as far as youth production is concerned.

Couldn't agree more when you listen to the coaches and the resources put into the development of young players.

Yeah, recent Bees Player interviews with the backroom staff have been very revealing.

They generally seem very excited by that particular group (U-16) and their performance against Barcelona would suggest that they have every right to be...

I was looking on a Derby message board this morning to see what they had to say about the game yesterday and I happened upon this little snippet about the Academy.

It's going to be a tough game this, But one I fully expect us to come through in the end.

I like Brentford, They get there players playing the right way. My god son plays for QPR u9s who played Brentford at there training ground 2 weeks ago. The facilities were poor, But there's a real togetherness about the place.

There U9s team were a joy to watch. Where as QPR teach a philosophy where they want players to be more individual and direct, Brentford played the sort of football you expect from kids twice there age, Passing, Movement, Unselfishness (it was like watching the rams at times)and just an all round excellent team performance(completely playing QPR off the park)

This only bodes well for Brentford, And I hope they have a good season, But I think the Super Rams will put on another London showcase today.

HB is talking about Bradley Clayton, not JU. ;)

Bradley has trained with the first team squad at times this season.

Looks like whoever wrote the tweets was wrong, maybe Bees' nearest challengers won as well, but this says they're within "touching distance" of the title.

Domestic duties I'm afraid, seams they cant do without my departures but from what I've read I'd have had to of left at halftime.
