BFC crest jpeg?

Does anyone have a decent sized jpeg of the BFC crest that I could use on a car number plate? Or if anyone has already done this - where is the best source of a reasonable sized crest image. The official page crest starts to pixellate when you make it any bigger.
Any ideas? Cheers.

The best i could find was:

You could try scanning one at high res from a source such as a match programme

Great idea, but be warned that a pernickety police officer looking for something to put on his report might well pull you up, as strictly speaking it would be illegal, but good luck anyway.

Davidg - is it illegal? It's going alongside the number where people have their England / EU flags on the plate.

Yes, it infriges a trademark, although I don't think BFC are as aggresive as Premiership clubs in chasing instances where it is infringed.

I think it is a great idea of yours, but it is definitely illegal. I work in the motor trade, and what I was trying to put over to you is that the police can pull you over for this and if let's say you are illegal for any other reason then you are done for both "offences", but I would love to be able to put so to you it's ok ,but it would be at your risk. Hope this is of some help to you.

Just found this on a reg. website which answers my own question.

"The Government announced on 28 December 2001 the intention to permit the display of national flags and symbols on vehicle number plates. The Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001 are in the process of being amended and should be in place by the end of 2002. They will provide for the voluntary display of the Union flag, Scottish Saltire, Cross of St George and Red Dragon. Football team crests etc are not allowed."

If you want to be very pedantic, the crest can be on the number plate area while not being "on the numberplate". This can apply if you have a number that is less than 7 digits as the actual law states that there must be a minimum margin around the digits of 11mm. This means that, with a shorter number, you can get a legal plate made up that is smaller, then mount this on a blank with the crest on... if you see what I mean.

Or you could get a window sticker!
