Just seen that Jacob Murtagh has been promoted to Sports Editor of the Mirror online, which presumably will mean his beat now extends far beyond West London football (though of course, sport shouldend with West London football).

As someone ITK with the Bees, it will be interesting to see whether his replacement (if they get one) has the same interest or how it will affect our coverage in the press.

Jake went to the Mirror some time ago. He has/had excellent contacts and BFC, for a fair few good stories and was always reliable.

I'll say nothing further on the current standard of reporting.

I do indeed still work at TM but not worked full time on the Chron/GWL for a few years now, thanks for asking. My name will still crop up on GWL from time to time when helping out in my spare time or covering for holidays/lieu days, but it's not been my regular gig for a while now.
