Big crowd against Doncaster didn't help. We should just have the 4-5k of us that go every week and only let a handful of away fans in. Psychologically the players will think they are playing Accrington in a meaningless end season game. 5-0 Brentford, job done.

they only had 10,595 out of 15,728. You could not hear Swindon fans at all, again only Bees fans sung

I hope that the attendance on monday is over this amount! Should be

Were you watching the TV cos they were extremely loud, 3 sides giving it for 89 minutes.
Difficult for us to get the away end going as there was no roof.

I'm popping down to GP in a while, my middle son and his pal have
decided they want to join the rest of us tomorrow.
COYR.

10:30 this morning walked straight up to the ticket office, more stewards than punters, expected to see a few more.

We won't sell out tomorrow but we will win & then we will have 25 thousand at Wembley

A little spot of info please.

I've paid for tickets and need to collect them Monday. The ticket office times say 11 till 2.30. Is that for on the day purchases, or do I have to collect prepaid before 2.30?

I wouldn't ask if I was local obviously, but have to organize home things then drive up 150 miles.

Any advice would be useful

Thanks

The 11 to 2.30 times are for ticket purchases, I would have thought that ticket collections will be available up to kick off, as normal.

I've had that call to arms again. Not once, but twice, and on a pleasant Sunday morning. Listening to scary voices isn't good for my nerves.

Sorry after 58 years cant put myself through any more torture, will need to get a close season under my belt and recover

Personnally if all those who told their mrs they were at griffin park rather than a hotel room we would be sOld put every week!!!

Cheers for the reply....I intend to be there in good time, but adding on more and more time for traffic holdups etc cos of 2.30 cutoff would mean the days stress starts really early.

to be honest ive always found the roof excuse pretty pathetic

This team need a full house on Monday. Forget about what might've been, you can't change the past. The fans can though help with the future.
Get down there on Monday please. :sorted::wave:

I will make sure that I shout very loud for all those wonderful Bees fans that are there in spirit but not in person -

:imwith:

Away end at Susan should definitely have no roof please MB. Near impossible to make any noise.

In answer to Whyteleafebee's question on page 1, the club had sold approx 7,500 tickets (inc away) when I picked up my ticket first thing on Friday morning.

................unfortunately it's a fact.............

ive been in plenty of stadiums around the world, in germany, france, brazil, argentina where there are no roofs and it is not a problem.

Simply not true I'm afraid. Home support was VERY loud at times. Bees fans rather quiet until the end, although it is hard being in the open end.

Swindon's support was excellent yesterday. We tried to make a noise but most of it was blown over our heads by the bloody wind!

Thank heavens they came on. I was impressed by Al, proper put himself about and wasn't afraid to get hurt. If only all our players were as eager to work.

Al also came to 'mingle' with the fans at the end. Classy guy!!

Hmmm, so my stepson wants to go and in Richmond currently, so can go to club and gets tickets, but he has no previous history of getting tickets, not a member of Bias, Lifeline etc .. so I can't see him and a few others getting to watch game !

He won't have a chance unless he goes as you ;)

The ticket office blocked one sale whilst I was there earlier. They had no history on the database or being members.

What???
Their fans were one of the most vocal I've had in a long time.
It was our vocal support which was embarrassingly lacking!

Good effort today Bees in difficult conditions. No prima donnas on the pitch for the full 95 minutes. That sort of Bees team I can support. More of the same on Monday please.

More of the same please?
You mean one shot on target and needing a pen in order to get that one shot?
You're easily pleased.

**** me did you guys actually watch the same game as me??

I just don't get this at all mate.

That's why everyone is different , we deal with things our own way. myself im not doing any playoff games, because I know if we make it to Wembley, and I go, and we lose, that would just about do it for me, id find something else to do on a sat, I cant stand in the losing end again watching the other team celebrate .... so im staying away and will get a ST next season what ever division we are in..... right or wrong I don't know , just my personal choice.

I think we'll get between 9-10k att tomorrow, which is fine by me as long as we all get behind the tem.

I totally agree
Its way too painful

Maybe the people moaning about the Brentford support from the comfort of their arm chairs should have made the effort to get to Swindon!!!!

Against the wind with no roof not exactly compatiable with loud vocal support

That's a shame mate. I believe you are due to be somewhere else tomorrow? ;)

Will be giving the lads an extra cheer on your behalf. :sorted:
