Big White Square

I was under the impression that the white square on the back of the new shirt was due to some FA or FIFA rule, but having a look at the mid-week goals from the football league, a lot of teams still have plain stripes on the back! Whats the story?

Does anyone know if we can buy replica shirts with names and numbers on again yet? I popped into the club shop yesterday to find a sign up that they couldn't do printing "while you wait" but I really don't want a shirt with a big white patch on in.

If it were a FIFA/UEFA directive then how come our away shirts don't have a square ?

I also thought it was an FA and league rule that shirts had to have a 'two year shelf life' too...
