So it was a nightmare then? He was just here the once yes?![]()
As did Danis Salmon. Wasn't he a young Turk? It's OK. I was only joking. I know he's a Cypriot. My girlfriend used to think he had hot legs. Anyway, get back to the topic, I don't want to talk about it. We were absolutely sailing until you came along with your comment. I take it I can have reason to believe that it's all over now?.................but he wore it well...................

Yeah sorry. I just had a little turn but I'm all right now. Baby Jane just snapped me out of it. That's what friends are for ......................wow, that's like waking up in a broken dream.....................
Not how I remember him. Totally out of his depth at Brentford in Div 3, did OK at Darlington in Div 4 but no sort of replacemt for O'Mara.

not us. an urban myth. braintree or basildon - i forget which!
He was an apprentice for us for a short time in 1961. Unless I'm getting him confused with Elton John? In which case I'd like to apologise, but sorry seems to be the hardest word .i totally agree no replacement for o'mara - he was very special. but we have had plenty worse than webb over the years in my opinion. he was about on a par with andy woon at that time?

I can find lots for sources that say it did happen, but none that say it's a myth .Urban myth. It never happened.![]()

OK. That's good enough for me thenIn an interview with Q magazine in 1995 he admitted the truth. I have checked the Football League ledgers and he does not appear in them.
