Billy Sharp

Took some guts for him to play tonight and score for Donny after the tragic loss of his 2 day old son on Saturday.
Total admiration for him.

Billy Sharp

Fair play to the man! So pleased he scored

Billy Sharp

Agree with Horshambees, not sure I could have played so soon after. Pleased to hear the referee showed a bit of compassion and common sense when he never booked Billy Sharp for taking his shirt off to show a "This is for you son" message.

Billy Sharp

Massive respect for Billy Sharp, so happy he scored, probably the most important he'll ever score in his point of view.

Agree... Well done ref

Billy Sharp

Poor man, what he and his wife must be going through. Best wishes to them all.

Awful isn't it, makes me shudder. Utmost respect Billy and well done ref.

Billy Sharp

Words cannot express what that must have meant to him.

Billy Sharp

I can't imagine what his poor family are going through. Love and respect to them all, and RIP baby luey.

Billy Sharp

I saw the goal and subsequent celebration this morning. You could feel the emotion coming through the TV screen.

Billy Sharp

RIP to the little one

Utmost respect to Bily Sharp

Well done Darren Deadman for actually applying some common sense

Any chance a tecnically minded person can get to these comments to Donny or at least a Donny meassage board. I am sure they would be appreciated.

Billy Sharp

anyone know what led to his son dying at such a young age?

Billy Sharp

Dean Saunders said he knows all the finer details "which are worse than you think" :(

Kind of brings things into perspective even more.I feel for anyone who loses a child and i give them total respect for picking themselves up and moving on and what Billy done for his son,his wife and himself must have moved everyone who was there.Seen the goal and that is emotion personified.Nick Logan is right in what he asks for and is there anyway we as a club and supporters can pass this on to Donny Rovers and Billy Sharp?

Billy Sharp

Well done Darren Deadman but I wonder if the referees assessor will penalise him.

I doubt it. Theres a time when common sense and deceny reign over a refs directive - this is as obvious as it gets.

Billy Sharp

It must have been so hard for him, so pleased the ref didn't book him, bought a tear to my eye watching the highlights also puts Tevez to shame when he refuses to play and is payed thousands

Billy Sharp

I think Billy Sharp has become my hero, that's my idea of a role model. Can't even start to imagine how much strength that must have taken but what a fantastic way to pay tribute
to Luey.

Billy Sharp

Couldn't agree more sonofabee.

I hope he continues to receive a warm applause from opposing teams' fans.

RIP.

Billy Sharp

Sad, very very sad. Can't begin to understand what the poor bloke is going through. RIP

He'd certainly receive a warm applause from me.

Billy Sharp

A sad story. Losing a child so young.

Both parents were strong to face everyone after such a traumatic experience. A fitting tribute to their loss, with Billy scoring, and the referee showing common sense too.

RIP Luey...

My goal tonight was the most important goal of my career dedicated to my brave boy luey jacob sharp I love u son sleep tight.thatsforyouson

Very tragic news. Big decission to play and score a goal that he will never forget.

hats of too the ref as well, could have booked him, but sense prevailed.

Billy Sharp

Utmost respect to all the Sharp family. Billy Sharp is a man with a pair of balls. Who wants to hear about idiots like Rooney and Terry, when you have a guy like Billy Sharp. Best wishes and total respect.

Billy Sharp

seems gastroschisis is what causes his son to pass away, where some organs are pretruding from the body..very sad.

Tractor boy fans gave him a good hand when he scored and was subbed tyesterday

Billy Sharp

dont think he can hack it in the prem so hopefully he moves there and doesnt score the goals that takes them down

Billy Sharp

Billy Sharp has a £1.85million release clause in his contract which becomes effective on 1st January.. so why do Donny want £3?

Billy Sharp

Is he good enough?.
I have my doubts and sadly have to hope that he's crap for those *****.

I hope he does ok but Fulham don't. I suspect that Jol isn't happy there and unless things change he'll walk. The knobs who claim to follow Fulham want someone who
courts them and positive publicity not someone who tells it like it is and doesn't care if he upsets people along the way.

Shame there's a few poor teams down there but if Spurs buy Djemba Ba in the window I hope Fulham might just implode this season.
