Seems Birmingham have now completely sold their stadium to a 'British Virgin Islands property company', Achiever Global Group Ltd'. They will now have to pay £1.25 a year in rent...

There wasn't a safety certificate for two of the stands when we were there for the Coventry game, nobody was allowed into those stands.
Not sure if the certificate had just lapsed or there was an actual issue with the structure . . .

Birmingham City have confirmed that two stands will have to be closed at St Andrew's for work to be carried out on them.

Structural work is needed on the Kop and Tilton stands after both parts of the ground were identified for improvement after a recent survey on the stadium.

He will probably pay the £1.25 to rent the stadium as a sign of how he is one of them.

It just gets better! Or do I mean worse? No, I definitely mean better! :)

(From today)
"Due to an unexpected delay caused by the discovery of further necessary repair work, the Kop and Tilton Stands will remain closed for our Sky Bet Championship fixtures with Stoke City [Sat.14th Aug.] and Bournemouth [Wed.18th Aug.].

The Club is working with its contractors with the aim of reopening these areas in time for our match with Derby County on 10 September.

However, we acknowledge that previous timeframes have not been met and therefore it would be irresponsible to set a final date for reopening."
Stadium Update: Additional Information

Problem is, with a reduced capacity of fewer than 10k, 7.3k ST Holders, nearly 3k away tickets sold, plus however many non-ST home tickets sold, they can't fit everyone in!

So they've had to cancel and refund all home tickets already sold, incl ST's (though allow the away fans); then enter their 7.3k ST Holders into a ballot for one of 3.3k seats available vs Stoke OR one of 4.6k vs B'mouth.
