Firstly the team was a little unbalanced due to Dickson being injured. So straight from the off we have at least two lads playing in unfamiliar roles. Andy Scott is so right when he states that we are not going to be brilliant every week. Oldham i believe are the longest serving team in L1 so are adept at getting draws away when they are under the cosh. They reminded me of Brighton, ie, tough and uncompromising and brutal at times. We are going to meet lots of big ugly teams like that this season. The ref was hopeless, no getting away from that and after their wonder goal equaliser it all got a bit frustrating. But we didnt lose and could easily have won. Someone stood directly behind me said Oh he never meant that as their goal flew in! There was another idiot to my left giving Cort disgusting abuse every time he had the ball. If we had been offered an unbeaten run through August at the start i would have grabbed it with both hands. At both Carlisle and Southampton i witnessed at close hand some of our so called fans giving out dogs abuse to certain players(veins popping out of their necks, every single word is a vile swear word in front of women and children) We dont need fans like these who are often so well oiled they couldnt tell the first half from the second. So lets take Scotts advice and realise we are on a journey that wont be a tea party all the way. Some things will go wrong. But i personally would not swap Scotty and Bully for anyone else.Keep the faith. If you cant dont bother coming.

I was in the Ealing Road end, I never heard any booing at the final whistle. There was booing during the game, but that was aimed at the ref. Personally I thougt it wasn't a bad game and it was still a point. We're still unbeaten for the moment . The boys coulda tried to keep it on the ground a bit more though

I never heard any booing at the end either, but then again i was in the Braemer, and I applauded the players at the final whistle, even though i thought the game was quite poor to be honest. Upon saying that though I can live with some games like that considering how far we have come and what we have acheived under AS and TB (thats Bully not Butcher). I do feel we missed Woods ability on the wing though and hopefully Dickson will be back soon.

At full-time. Why?? It is a back-handed compliment to how well we've progressed in the past eighteen months? I'm not sure but the atmosphere and negativity was extraordinary from the Ealing Road terrace. We are not going to walk this division and a few need to realise this.

i guess the ealing road is where the most vocal fans are so that is where any booing would come from.

ive never seen the point of booing, maybe in private in the pub with your friends complain about players and stuff if you want but in the ground at the match its counter productive to boo. if theres something going not quite right the manager and players surely know about it and will be trying to sort it but the fans need to back them and encourage them in order to move forward, even less point booing when over all its going well so far. PMA

I don't understand where people get off shouting abuse at our own players - if they miss a sittter then an "oh f**k!" is expected - but to go on & then berate the player . . . what good does that do? Do you think he MEANT to miss?

Same here: the odd impatient shout during the game, and some booing for the ref, but nothing directed against the team as a whole. If AS heard it, it may have been from Braemar?

Having sat with my brother at West ham where he has a season ticket I can assure you that the negativity and booing of players there makes Ealing Road seem a bunch of enthusiastic fans wearing rose-tinted specs!
