I think having that many I really confusing to supporters as to when their eligibility is. Of course, I don’t think it will go past the second or third for this game.

Maybe, club obviously learning from Luton. Better to be safe than sorry.

Yep, not hard to know how many TAPs you have and see what tier you are in and what date you can buy.
Third tier for me but happy that those with a few hundred more than me in the second tier get a go first.
Maybe hard for those 1TAP below a threshold but tranches of 500 seems a reasonable approach.

Kudos to Bournemouth for the junior pricing (undercuts Gen10!), although at those thresholds there understandably won’t be many kids who can take advantage.

Depends if you find out quick enough. Publishing this information at the dead of night on a Friday is just ridiculous.

I'm reliably informed emails usually go out on Sunday. The GPG just has nerds scouring the club website for when the content is posted

Two points here. Not that many people know that and the second is that finding out Sunday with zero notice of tickets going on sale the next day is diabolical.

Sunday to Wednesday isn't zero notice. They have done that before which is not acceptable but not in this instance

Totally agree, seems very reasonable to me.

I'm first tier but my son is second tier so I'm optimistic but if we miss out because I wait for the second tier so be it.

As Tier 3 for this, I’ve just had almost a week’s notice as they go on sale next Friday. Tier 1 have had 5 days notice.
Yes, you can wait to be served up an email over the next few days or you can use your initiative and look on the BFC website under ‘on sale dates’. It’s really not hard.

I like the first higher TAP threshold and the multiple tranche levels. It helps reduce the panic around 2pm and is beneficial for those whose work commitments mean they cannot access the tickets at that time. Indeed it looks like they have helped address the issues from previous sales and I am really surprised there is a moan about it in this thread.

I think this notice period is ideal. Not too far in advance to forget and enough to help make plans. My only slight beef is that I don't receive the email until the day before which is too close to the time when they are on sale. Hence I'm grateful for this GPG thread which helps me make plans.

Every day, every week until something is announced? Why should that be the case? The fixture date are known six weeks in advance so it’s not beyond them to announce what day details are announced and that should be a good week before tickets go on sale. Not everybody has the spare time to keep checking day in and day out.

A completely different point than many windows. You still get the email. You still know when to buy after you read it. Doesn’t matter if there’s 2 or 2000 windows

As of August 2024 there were 2121 season ticket holders with >= 4,500 TAPs.

Would be useful to know how many people are in each bracket. I'm in two minds about waiting until the Thursday to buy two tickets together, or if that's too much of a risk.

I can assure you that (this season at least) it’s of little use. You’d also need to know how many in each band go to away games. There’s a material number in the top band that dont go to aways but have gotten TAPs by picking them up for umpteen seasons. However they might be tempted to go to this one given its “cache”

True. But it helps to a degree when making educated guesses - games like this with small away allocations all the more helpful.

Last season it sold out at 3600+. This season people will have more taps but in general away attendance seems to be down. It may get to the 4th or 5th window but I doubt any further.
