Taken over by Maxim Denim, Russian investor, with Eddie Mitchell selling up. Could be good for the club if all goes well but possibly a site for a hotel if it doesn't.

He's owned 50% of them for the past 2 years, in which time they have broken their transfer record, got promoted to the Championship and built a new stand.

What should they be worried about?

He wants the land for a hotel but maybe I'm wrong - I hope it all works out but far happier with a true fan like Matthew in charge.

Demin has made a number of loans to the club so he could write them off now he's the owner. If he doesn't I suppose it will all depend on how successful the club is and how much he invests in the future.

I think they have plans to build a hotel on the site anyway, but not actually on the pitch.

I doubt Demin would get away with building a hotel on the pitch as he lives in Sandbanks and presumably it wouldn't go down with the locals if he did so.

In any case they could be in the Premier League next season the way things are going and then he'll have a made a huge profit on his investment.

I expect Maxi made a nice profit in the end and fair play to him.
He never did build that hotel and I know he had no intention of doing so.
Have you seen how many hotels in Bournemouth he could have bought?
Nearly all of them.So why build one.
I guess he still has his stake in Dinamo Tbilisi and Basel.
Bournemouth did well under him and Maxim did well out of Bournemouth.
It would never have been like this under the previous owner.
