It was my first visit to BL yesterday and I was very impressed. Fantastic acoustics, view of the pitch, public transport access etc etc. I'm sure it helped to contribute to the excitement of the match. Best stadium in the country I've visited IMHO.

I was at the back of the stand, and with the safety netting I couldn't see sod all of the other stands, I blame the manager if they stop playing that depressing hoofball brand of football it might stop people jumping.

agree with above - proper cr@p leg room for us tallies - still not worse than Luton though. Really good atmosphere inside - all down to ourselves obviously ha ha but agree decent ground and atmosphere

The noise from the home crowd when they scored, especially their second, was spine tingling, I have to admit. Not sure if you credit the fans or the ground for that...probably both. I've not been to many 30k+ seaters but the atmosphere at BL beat the others hands down. (Wembley, Stamford Bridge, Valley)

Fantastic stadium , and great atmosphere. the Sheff derby must be a sight to behold. Thatchers Gold on draught too

Went there twice with bees , didnt think it was THAT brilliant imho. Could imagine it would have been for a big game though

I think it was that one.. I've been twice.. thought it was where Keith Jones got sent off but marco played for Derby in 92/93..

The sound was great in the stadium and stewards were good too. Legroom as bad as the Paddock sadly but enjoyed my trip there. Hotel attached to the Jess Ennis stand was good too. Had a room inc breakfast for 60quid and could see into the stadium from my room! There were quite a few Bees staying there too so was good to go back after and have a chat with them all and SU fans and two things we all agreed on, the ref was the worst we had seen for ages and that if we end up staying in the play offs, they don't want to play us again as they thought we were the best team they had played home and away!

Yes, that's bad too in the old K stand. The newer North stand s ok though.

A proper proper football ground, give me that over the likes of St Mary's any day.

Only ground I know where you must have a fire certificate for your flags - but what about your clothes??

Also, as it was my first visit, I like to take photos of new grounds etc and was told it was fine but as soon as game kicked off, must put camera away...
Saw plenty of cameras in the home end being used... did their flags have certificates..

A number of clubs ask for fire safety certificates now. MK Dons did recently as well.

You're not actually allowed to film or take pictures of the game whilst its being played - AFAIK - as it infringes copyright, but as nearly everyone has a smart phone now, it's not normally enforced, unless standing next to a steward or club official!
