And he fed the ball out to Paul Bence on the right for him to cross for John O'Mara to score just about the finest goal I have ever seen at GP, against Darlington; a better volley than Di Canio's Premier League Goal of the Season.

I remember that goal as well, he was mid stride with both feet off the ground but what a strike.
He also scored more than a couple of bullet headers from 12-18 yards out similar to Trotta on Saturday.

Also remember him hitting the post at Hull in the 70/71 cup run. We were 1 up at the time (Bobby Ross) against a Hull side top of the old second division (read Championship young ones)when we were sadly bottom half of the 4th. Sadly Hull went on to win 2-1 after they scored following a clear foul on Gordon Phillips our keeper late on in the game.

he scored a rocket against Hatlepool I think. It may have been played on a sat evening. I think the bees won 5 or 6 0 the all went into the net like a bullet.

As well as the excellent finish, IIRC it was a sweeping 5 man move, one end of the pitch to the other. Tremendous team goal also.
