Brian Woolnough RIP

Has died .. one of my favorite football writers .. always enjoyed watching and listening to him on Sky Sports on Sunday mornings :(

When I used to live in Shepperton, would often see him him walking his dog along the Thames, I think he lived in Weybridge

Had noticed he hadn't been presenting sunday supplement recently, wondered why. How sad, very interesting guy to listen to and a good presenter.

The other presenter said a few 3 weeks ago that he was standing in for him, and I wondered why that was still the case 2-3 weeks later. Was a decent presenter and seemed to know his stuff

Liked him, always seemed to know what he was talking about on Sunday Supplement, ran the show even when Jimmy Hill was supposed to be in charge. RIP

Very sad news and so soon after another colleague of his, Danny Fulbrook succumbed to this evil disease. Always enjoyed him watching him on a Sunday morning.... RIP

Brian Woolnough RIP

Always thought he had a very balanced view on football. My dad being the typical "I only the paper for the sport" type said he only read the Sun for his columns. RIP

Dreadful, always liked him on Sunday morning TV but confess haven't read many written articles by him. RIP
