Brighton Decision

Seems like some very strong rumours around that the decision will be made next week on Brightons proposed new ground.

start of the season looming - Labour party conference in Brighton in a few weeks time!
could be good news to the seagulls.

good luck to them.

Despite the positive soundbites from the Brighton supporters I would be tad worried if I were them. In typical politic speak Prescott hasn't said yes and he hasn't said no so in reality they are no futher forward other than probably having to spend even more legal fees on an extended public enquiry, to get details about other sites that they already know the answers to.

Doesn't look promising IMHO. I am sure Josh will say otherwise..

everyone down here seems to be putting a brave face on it and saying its still gonna happen but im not too sure-certainly this city wants a new ground but this had dragged on for ages now.

i just hope it isnt this hard for us to get our new ground!

I hope when the time happens that it is announced that the bees have a new ground that we do not gound share with anyone and do not sell gp until we know that the gorund has been built and ready for us to move into.Let us learn from from the Brighton travesty.

I hate Brighton,if they die a slow and painful death like Wimbledon i'll laugh my cotton socks off lol

Isnt football a bit of a rough game for your typical inhabitant of Brighton - why do they need a new stadium anyway.
Are there plans afoot for half time all male wrestling sessions to really get the locals interested - perhaps Joshbha can enlighten us

237 bee, you're showing signs of homophobia and that's just not acceptable in this politically corrrect forum. You don't want to go and upset the poofs now do you?

'Backs against the wall for the visit of Brighton today, and that's just the fans' :D From the Oldham matchday programme last season.

Still good luck to BHA though I can't see them getting it, they're flukey bastards!
