Any one else get a email saying we have not seen you this season have a bogof for this game I'm not a member just have previous history

Brighton home

I got that email and I've been to all the games and am a season ticket holder, keep up Brentford.

So what size crowd are we expecting for this one folks???

Has there been any info about ticket sales so far?

Not that l'm aware of but just think the fact we are the highest we have been for over 50 years, playing the best football for maybe in as many, not much to expect is it?

Free Companion ticket for junior bee - does not need to be child.

You wouldn't have thought so but looking at the online seat selection map, there's no way there'll be 10k there.

After a couple of weeks without football, holidays for many over, schools back, and Bees on a unbeaten three match run after picking up 7 points, I would be mighty disappointed if there wasn't 10k plus.

Me too but I fear there might be under 10k again

It will definitely be over 10,000. The seat selection seems to show slightly more sold than the Birmingham/Charlton games and there is still a few days to go. Have to give credit to the club they are certainly promoting plenty of offers and the e-mails to fans who haven't attended yet this season offering a BOGOF deal is a nice touch. I genuinely believe that by the time we more to Lionel Road all this marketing work will be reaping plenty of rewards (it already is to a certain extent).

I know I'm in the minority but having to commit to such league games in advance is really peeing me off

I committed to home league games some months ago...

Likely to have the best average crowd since 1972 this season even though we are limited by capacity.

if you can get to isleworth before 09:15 on saturday or anytime after 19:30 tonight to pick it up. AND you can promise to meet me to return it in time for Norwich city at home on tuesday you can borrow an adult and kid ticket mate.

I've bought mine already but thanks for the offer! next time!

Don't know why they bothered sending it to me, according to them I have no purchase history when I tried to take the offer up.
Wonder who purchased my previous tickets for me and gave them my email address???????

Got my three, last game before Fulham probably for me due to work.

About a quarter of Ealing road left available. The block I'm in (Braemar B as it was formally known) only has 2 seats left.

Still feels weird. Big game tomorrow in the Championship and it still feels like it's someone else playing Brighton tomorrow. I'll get used to it eventually.

Can't get used to it either.

Maybe because we've only played sides that we've played in the last couple of years.

That's the problem - w ehave to play the shirt not the reputation. We can beat this lot and we , and that means the crowd too, have to believe we are as good as them, if not better!

Why hype them up?
We're playing Brighton, not Real Madrid

All I can say is thank god. The last 2 weeks has been beyond boring, lets get some proper football in.

The players deserve a big crowd of 10k+
As an "older" fan I find it hard to believe some are getting excited about a potential crowd of 10,000. I can clearly remember when a side as good as this one would have pulled in 20,000 plus!! How times change!

Over 30,000 in the late 50's for the visit of Coventry and Plymouth Argyle amongst others in Division Three (South) and Division Three.

I remember leaving school at 4.00 in Hampton, going straight home to change at Twickenham and then straight onto the trolley bus to get to Brentford for the final match of the season against...Brighton! We won to go top of the table but Brighton won their final match the following Tuesday to win promotion to Division Two.

This game was a virtual sell out but I can't remember the attendance.

Our lowest attendance that season was 9,130.

I see your point but let's not forget we've been playing in front of circa 5,500 for the last 35 years though!! I love seeing 10,000 plus in GP and expect this to increase every year we maintain our Championship status and then jump again once we move into LR.

I missed our last home game with Brighton and have never seen us lose at home to them, think we're about due to beat them 4-0 again too.

Times have changed but i find it not that hard to believe that some are excited about 10=+ as weve had an average of 5-6000 over the last 20 years. With all the prem teams on our door step it will take a while to attract anywhere near 20k.

Agree, building our fan base up again is going to take a while but will happen. Given our home averages in recent history getting over 10k for a normal League game is respectable, though still think it's the least we should expect with the transformation of our fortunes recently.

Done a bit of a tally on-line and seats left are approx.:
New Road - 950 - half in N501 - Juniors Day has nicely filled the Family area
Paddock - 51 (Mostly P200)
Braemar - 850 (Edges)
Ealing - 350
So about 2200 left at the moment

We've only had 10,000+ once in 50 years (the O'Mara promotion season). The last time we averaged 20,000+ was 1952, but even then Chelsea were nearly 40k and Fulham 31k+. Key is getting youngsters and a wider catchment area/group... not to mention a bit more success.

Very true mate and therefore a lot of our fanbase have only ever experienced average crowds of around 5000-6000 with the occasional "big game" thrown in. I used to think anything over 7500 was a good gate so its great that we are now talking upwards of 10,000 and hopefully continuing to grow.
