Excellent 45 minutes for Brentford - think this game is our biggest of the season - if we could just hold on - this may kick start a run of wins -

Weve played really well in this half. Burgess' touch has been pants tho, Owusu is running hard without reward, Evo's passing is OK, but his tackling is brilliant. A marked improvment. Hunt has run his socks off. Brighton look hopeless on all accounts, there just punting it upfield hoping for Zamora to get a touch. Second half will be different, Brighton will come out all guns blazing, but if we keep it up, we could get a few more.
Ivar scored with a great header from 12 yards, you have to wonder where was the marking tho! Burgess' goal was a 5 yard tap in after Dobbo ran down the right and played it accross the line. We should of had 2 penaltys IMHO, the foul on Hunt and a handball from a Brighton defender, we deserved that one just to let the ref make up for his first error. If we lose or draw because of it, remember that ref!

This must be the best 45 mins of Bees on TV. Two good goals, two good shouts for penalties, Brighton not had a shot on target. Surely, there is now no way Brighton can get back in this match.

Best game I've seen so far this season. TV replays shows one definite (Hunt) penalty and probably another for a hand ball. We are really up for it although Brighton's passing (when they get it) is very good. Dobson's run to make the goal for BBB was brilliant.

Great game lads. You have got to see BBB's second goal -it was sheer perfection. Peter Taylor says we deserved to win because we harried them accross the park. Why don't we do that week after week? I have to say that the Seagulls were lacklustre and allowed us to come at them. Although the TV gave BBB Man of The Match, they all played well and Dobson, Ingermarson, Powell, Anderson and probably all of them desrved it tonight. Special mention to Paul Smith in goal who did not have to do much but what he did was excellent and his kicks upfield were strong.

The quotes from Capital Radio and 5live sum it all up. It was superb - sheer class. The Bees are back and half of division one had better be worried, let alone division two. We were awesome.

I sat next to Mike Sewell from Radio5, who was covering the match with David Oates and former Seagull Gary O'Reilly.....asked him at the start if he wanted to know anything about The Bees..he replied he was at Northampton and couldnt believe how bad we were.
At half time he said he couldnt believe it was the same team..I dont think any of us can. I was lucky to "get" BBBs second goal and Im glad Capital Gold agree it IS the second div goal of the season...Worth buying a video of the match for that alone.
What a great turaround...we harried Brighton and worked so hard. Glad to Smith in...I know Coppel was livid with him on Tuesday and rightly so. Smith did well and deserves a run.
Cant wait for Col u!!
