what is Allen so scared of with away fixtures? I just don't understand why we don't start with our strongest team instead of starting off trying to defend 0-0.

Granted I haven't seen this match but is it possible we have a few players without backbone, resolve,purpose,heart,boldness,courage,firmness et al? We haven't lost our away games - we have capitulated.

Sounds as if we were lucky it wasn't 8-1,Martin Allen needs to change tactics for away games,on the bright side we are only 3 points off 2nd place!!.

OK. Allens plan is to go for home wins. So we can afford to lose 6 games at home and stay up.

I could not go (mentally incapacitated by a severe hangover) but I have to wonder at the strategy of seeming to accept that we will play the whole game in our half. Has MA never heard of the phrase, 'The best defence is attack'?

How was Dobson today? Was he really geeing them up? We do definitely need a strong leader on the pitch, and after his displays thus far, I am not 100% sure that he is the right man. Not saying he should be removed as captain, but it is at times like this - pulled it back to 2-1 and pushing hard - when a team needs some good positive leadership, and leadership by example too, not just aimless hand-clapping.

Would have been a little tricky for Dobbo to show leadership as he was substituted at 2 down.
