Broncos going?

London Broncos are to make an announcement about their ground for next year at a charity night tonight. I hope they are staying for the money as well as the chance to get to the odd game.

How much does Brentford get for renting out the ground to the Broncos?

not enough - we need more cash...!!!

I hope they stay too, for the same reasons as LB. But, I belive that they will stay as they did this last year and said they were staying. They seem to like playing at GP, and we're just glad of the extra money.

Does anyone know how much Brentford do receive as I am genuinely quite interested.

looks like the Broncos have signed a 5 year deal to stay at GP according to teletext.

Considering we do not have another ground to go to and that if Lionel road was signed tommorrow, we would be 5 years away from taking occupation anyway.

This is great news - hopefully breeding more 'community ground' feel for Griffin Park, and therefore by extension for Brentford Football Club. And hopefully cross-over Broncos fans that become Bees.

And the money, yes the money is helpful too.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm......its maybe not the best thing we could have hoped for :nono: :nono:

does the right hand ever talk to the left hand at GP?

What do you mean?

5 years income from a tenant to help pay some of the bills?

The pitch does suffer a bit, but this season, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. So whats the problem?

Rugby League is a summer game (at least now it is) and Union is a winter game.

Is there any real reason why we couldn't get a Union club in as well.

Pitch could cut up a bit but other clubs seem to manage a Football/Rugby Union share in the winter.

Good news about the Broncos I think. I wonder how much we're getting and whether it was in the budget.

Given the amount of time that Brentford spend kicking for touch with long ball hoofing, you would have though that GP would be ideally suited for Rugby Union.
