No mate. Planning on staying nearer to Burnley,Blackpool bud?
How many points have you got? My girlfriend (1440 TAPs) didn't get an email for this one or West Ham. She missed the deadline for Palace and didn't try for Wolves or Villa.Anyone get the "selected MyBees Members" email? Not received any yet and concerned there'll be more of a stampee for Newcastle and Leeds, especially for fans further north.

Hmm where was this option for away fans. Isn't there a rule about this....Interesting concession for home fans. £90 for 10 fans to celebrate 9 years of Dyke:

It might be that in the PL the rule about not pricing aways higher than home tickets was replaced by the £30 maximum price (which as is often the way with enforced maximum pricing has become the minimum).Hmm where was this option for away fans. Isn't there a rule about this....
Leeds got in trouble for doing buy one get one half price for home fans only a few years ago, and basically ended up having to give every away fan 25% off.

Of more concern to them must be the fact that after years in the PL and being about an hour’s journey to the nearest other PL clubs, they struggle to sell their 17-18k or so of home tickets other than for big clubs so much that such offers are possible let alone needed.
You are confusing Leeds with BurnleySome one told me they have 30,000 fans on a waiting list and looking to increase capacity and redevelop Elland Road to 60,000.
As banana said my comment was about the £9 group tickets to Burnley. The Leeds offer Jay Bee mentioned was when they were in the EFL and until at least their promotion season they didn’t even open the upper tier of the main stand. Their plans are to put a second tier on the other stands. I’m not sure they have 20k more who’d actually buy STs but the ground gets used for loads of other stuff and is a bit tired. Some one told me they have 30,000 fans on a waiting list and looking to increase capacity and redevelop Elland Road to 60,000.
Yes, possibly true. I'd certainly rather pay £30 for every away game, than £9 for Burnley and £40-£50 for the other 18!It might be that in the PL the rule about not pricing aways higher than home tickets was replaced by the £30 maximum price (which as is often the way with enforced maximum pricing has become the minimum).

I don't think that is so surprising, nearly all the surrounding towns have their own football club, albeit not PL at present - Preston, Blackburn, Accrington, Rochdale, Oldham and formerly Bury. And despite the vision that a mention of Burnley probably conjures up in many minds, the town is actually surrounded by a lot of hills and moorland.Of more concern to them must be the fact that after years in the PL and being about an hour’s journey to the nearest other PL clubs, they struggle to sell their 17-18k or so of home tickets other than for big clubs so much that such offers are possible let alone needed.
True and Burnley’s not a huge town (about 70k) so even with only 10-15k in we’re talking about a large proportion of the population.I don't think that is so surprising, nearly all the surrounding towns have their own football club, albeit not PL at present - Preston, Blackburn, Accrington, Rochdale, Oldham and formerly Bury. No mate…passenger in the Surrey Bees old gits battle wagon !!! ???You TW8 it mate, Blackpool?
Just shy of 1000 by the time Burnley is played, the Wiki had 1050/1000 for West Ham and Wolves. Think if I'm quick on the draw...How many points have you got? As per above we are now sorted though because this is now on sale to all members.
We will have to see how much interest there is in the other northern away days, though I believe we did sell out Newcastle in 16/17. So far we have not fully sold out Villa or Wolves, and this is now on sale to members. When Leeds gets moved to Monday night for TV coverage there'll be plenty available![]()
I'm still not out and about, but fully intend to go. I'm sure I could recruit some sympathetic Scousers for the day.Got tickets for this game but the wife wants us to go away that week due to it being school half term week. So still uncertain whether I will go or not at the stage but having said all this this is exactly the game where the fans need to be and support the team. Could make a massive difference.

Is the wiki not for STH TAP thresholds though? I was referring to members ticket TAPs which are "by invitation" only.Just shy of 1000 by the time Burnley is played, the Wiki had 1050/1000 for West Ham and Wolves. Think if I'm quick on the draw...
Know an Orient fan I'd be keen to stay over with, not that there'll be a shortage of tickets in the Ashley Arena just sure he'd rather be up with us.
Having looked at my pictures from the game it was pretty jam packed. Not quite the same for Sunderland the next season tho ?
Burnley is the nearest team to me, I live on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, I could get there by car in under half an hour.Yorkshire Dales isn't that far away from Burnley......?

if anyone’s looking at places to stay for a long weekend etc I’d recommend Malham or Grassington where current series of All Creatures Great & Small is filmed
What are these members ticket TAPs?
Yes that is what I'm talking about. Sorry for my slightly garbled previous post.Think he's talking about the 5% members' allocation though if he didn't have 1500 TAPS at the beginning of the season, don't reckon he'll be in line for any of those
It shouldn't be a secret. Members on here can tell you if they got a ticket or not with their TAPs number.Yes that is what I'm talking about. Sorry for my slightly garbled previous post.
Nothing is published about how many TAPs are needed to be in the 5% reserved for members for any particular game, I suspect this is partly because it is likely to antagonise some STHs if they can see that some member with fewer points is getting first priority over them. It was mentioned on here that at least one member with circa 1800 TAPs got a Palace ticket when the STH threshhold was at 3400 or so.
If it turns out no member with 1500-2000 TAPs has any chance of a ticket from now on then fine, it is what it is. Just want to get some sort of gauge over whether there is any chance (and, how far ahead are those members that are getting the 5% allocation of tickets) so we can plan our match attendance. I did think my girlfriend had a decent shout of being in the top members group for Burnley but apparently not and maybe that is that. We have got her a ticket for this through open members sale now.

Absolutely fine if it's 1500+ for the skimming but would be nice to know what the point in the open form was for, I've a pal with 300+ who I've dragged to games in retrospect should have bought on my account filling it in thinking there'd be some random/lottery type chance if you'd some evidence of attending away games.Yes that is what I'm talking about. Sorry for my slightly garbled previous post.

I remember that , didn't realise we had score til he appeared on the halfway line. Didn't we play Carlisle away the week after too.I was working in England many years ago and managed to convince my wife that Easter in Hartlepool would make a great long weekend. We got to see Lloyd Owusu appear out of the mist to score in a 1-0 victory. If I was able to do that then Burnley must be easy.
Yes I was in the opposite end from the Bees supporters as my wife refused to stand in the Bees end as she wanted to sit down. We may have been the only Bees supporters to have seen the Owusu goal. Don't recall going to Carlisle the week after as my wife wasn't impressed with her Hartlepool trip although she enjoyed a side trip we did to Durham.I remember that , didn't realise we had score til he appeared on the halfway line. Did some miles that week !
