Depends what your bag is , some lovely countryside outside of Burnley .So im assuming staying in Burnley is a waste of time
I’ve stayed in the Premier Inn in Townley park. It was fine, decent breakfast, friendly staff. Not for a match though. The park is v nice too.2x on board here. The only ground in the prem remaining on my list to do.

Middlewich isn’t a place surely , it's a sleepy village in a Sunday night crime drama on ITV starring people who used to be a lot more famous when they were younger.
tbh mate we want some pubs and a bit of atmosphere, maybe a late night pub or bar for a bit later in the evening.
You will prob have a great night mate . Northerners enjoy themselves at the weekend not like the ikea / coffee, ooh maybe nave a beer with our nandos bores we have down here
