Cheers ITV

for the highlights today, was great to watch 55 minutes of boring highlights and then wait and not even see our goal this morning.

Cheers ITV

What do you expect, Griffin Park does not do reality TV:rolleyes:

These are the same arseoles (Ondigital) who kicked The Football League into touch years ago leaving every team in the sh*t:nono:

From their point of view I would think it is idiotic - why not cut the highlights / extend by ten minutes and have fans of Brentford / Wrexham / Accrington Stanley hunched round TV sets waiting for a couple of seconds of 'their' game rather than risk them not watching?

The whole show is a waste of time, i cant stand sky but at least they do a good round up of the football league.

London Soccer Night doesn't appear to be on this weak either (Usually Thursday late) - bloody "Love Island" instead.

Anybody know if that's coming back ?

Prob when the Premiers*!t season begins as time goes on more an more of the previous 'only football league show' has been dominated by chelski etc

when Colchester scored they twice referred to their elevation "from the footballing backwaters" - evidently Lge 1 and 2 are somewhat "beneath" ITV and that's why they can't be arsed to show it. angry email on it's way :mad1:

Cheers ITV

i woke up to wach the game and it was not on:banghead: :banghead: :mad1: :mad1: :mad1: and it still shows CRAP like the Q.P.R game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a waste of time. They can't be bothered to show action from our league and just have Clive Allen talking about Premiersh*t and about his amusing relative and his team. Can do without all of that.

....yeah barstewerds....waste of time.....................

Im sure everytime there are highlights of Coca Cola League Brentford always seemed to be missed out...

It's not just Brentford, there are probably 20 clubs from League's 1 and 2 that didnt get terrestial exposure.....ITV seems more concerned about sensational exploitation TV like Love Island than grass roots football.

I cringe when watching the fawning Townsend, the ever smiling Robbie Earle, (who looks as if he cant believe he has a job) and the banale Matt Smith.

Anyone know what time the League Review programme on sky is repeated this week ?

Cheers ITV

It's not just ITV, did anyone watc the fantastic first match from the Championship that SKy decided we wanted to watch at Saturday lunchtime? No, me neither.:zzzzz:

Cheers ITV

Why are you all so surprised? The only reason we've got any air time over the last 2 seasons is because they wanted to capture either MA's antics or one of his ridiculous quotes!

......back to reality

I don't think they were. I think it's still pre-season as far as Sky are concerned.

That's for those with Sky. I don't think they were on Sky Sports News though.

you'll need to watch for 24 hours then you'll catch them

Unfortunately those channels aren't available through Freeview ...

Then you've got an excuse to hit the pub tonight then, kill two birds with one stone :D

Cheers ITV

All the goals were on the freeview sky package at around 10:30 on Sunday morning. :) Think it was the SS News channel.

Couldn't tell wether Oli or Willock got the goal from that angle, but you could see both tried to claim it.

Cheers ITV

Saw the goal in a round up on SSN on Sunday. The Scottish presenter (Jim?) made a special mention of the Bees and looked delighted that we are up and running.

Saw it tonight. Don't think either Willock or Oli actually knew who scored it (it doesn't look as though either knew exactly in which direction the ball was heading !) But Oli was the first to claim it after it had gone in.

Does/has he ever been along to GP?

Good old sky done the bizzo last night, was pleased DJ got off the mark too even if it was his shoulder.

Cheers ITV

To be fair, ITV did do a few spots on Brentford last season and the season before. Plus they showed extended highlights of Forest v Brentford. What a great choice that was.

Better get the sky dish in and watch it on football league review:sorted:

i tried to record it and it failed

they probably stole the idea from my email

I am disgusted, but not surprised, to see ITV's wonderful
reputation for messing up sports continuing. Who on earth made the
decision to go back to the rubbish old format of only showing "important
highlights" from Leagues 1 and 2 and not showing every goal? Lower
league fans are the lifeblood of the game but continually get shafted -
hey, don't need to tell you guys about that, you did put half of us into
debt so you know ALL about it. Once again, the attitude shown to lower
league football by ITV has digusted me - even during the programme,
there were twice comments during the Birmingham game that referred to
the lower leagues as "footballing backwaters" - what a great attitude.
No wonder you struggle so much for viewers - thousands of fans around
the country, much like myself, would gladly tune in to the whole
programme if they knew they'd get to see their team's action at the end.

Please don't say lower league action has gone back to the Chelsea Soccer
Night programme on Thursday evenings, that show is tedious beyond
belief.

I would appreciate some sort of explanation but shan't hold my breath,
you're all probably getting super-excited about X-Factor or some other
reality bullshit - no wonder people laugh when your channel is raised in
conversation.

Yours in discontent,

Cheers ITV

Tree,

Now I thought I was a boring baastard but you seem to fire off complaint letters for a hobby. Have you tried Points Of View or even better a cocktail of alcohol and precription drugs yet and maybe waving that thing you keep in your underpants at women?

I only have your best interests at heart my old mucker,

Your dearest friend NB:wave:

Mr T - you are my hero. I've just returned from the IOW after a few days away - hello IOW Bee, enjoyed the beers - and you could not have summed up my views about ITV any better than in your email. The channel have totally lost the plot and have only one interest - reality TV, they could not give a sh*t about us in the 'lower' leagues.:nono:

I don't like Sky but at least they show everything from all the games and i've only got SSN thro freeview.

great email:sorted:
