Given that they were attacked in public, it is hardly surprising that they responded in public (what's even more laughable is that it comes from Real Madrid - the team with the failed galaticio policy).

Moreover, their understandable reponse was hardly aggressive really was it? :wave: :wave:

Mourinho was still rambling on yesterday about Reading's poor facilities for Emergency Ambulance access.

He really is paranoid isn't he ?

God forbid we make it to the third round of the FA cup, draw Chelsea and another incident happens, and he has to wait for an ambulance from West Mid !

I saw the game on television and at the time did not think Hunt's challenge was over the top. Now as I live in Prague, I can tell you that the Czech media are having a field day. After all it was a serious injury and one of their current heroes was on the receiving end. However, they have only reported Mourinho's and the Chelsea version of events, with no mention of Reading's response. Now everyone here believes that Reading and Hunt in particular are nothing more than thugs.

I only hope any Reading fan coming to visit Prague will not be stupid enough to wear their club shirt as it has been widely seen throughout the media. As a result they could end up with more than they bargained for. Maybe I wouldn't mind so much if the local thugs mistake a QPR shirt for the Reading one. ;)

I stand to be corrected Les, but i think Crewe have/had some sort of "special relationship" with Liverpool already. Something along the lines of Liverpool getting first dibs on Crewe players, with Crewe having first option on borrowing Liverpool youngsters. Might just be an informal arrangement with, i suppose, no money changing hands :wave:

I am unable to be anti Chelsea as Mrs RoyalOakBee is in fact Mrs ShedEnd! Best mate is also a blue so get it every day.
However looking at Mourinho's comments... Diarra is EXACTLY the type of player we need at moment so instead of us getting an option on the Hanwell lad (James Symonds) from their actual Reserves can we please have Diarra from their surplus First team squad?

I think that in this case JM is trying to restore balance because of exactly the stick Merson, in particular, and others gave Drogba last week and other weeks. He used the same words embarrassesd etc in describing Johnson's attempts to win a penalty.
IMHO Johnson is a very clever player nd he was definately looking for any contact from the keeper yesterday and he would have claimed a penno.
He didnot and was not hit by Hilario so he jumps up very quickly but watch the replay again and you will see he touches the ball and then throws himself up in the air hoping for contact.
Drogba, class player that he is aside, on the other hand is just a big tart and he should be embarassed and I would like to compile a video of his antics alone.

"who's good" the legend will be turning in his grave when he sees him rolling around like he has been hit by a sniper's bullet!

I know Andy Johnson has taken some outragious dives in the last year or so, but my viewing was he was pretty blameless. Hilario came straight at him and if he hadn't jumped he would have probably won his penalty! Not a dive, just getting out of the way (in the interest of not having his legs cut off at the shins).

Liked Moyes with his strange "look at the video!" hand gestures.

Even though I hate Chelsea and was a Drogba knocker last season am starting to come round to the fact that he is the outstanding player in the premiership this season so far.

No, I imagine it's because Wycombe are playing against Chelsea and they wouldn't want one of their players to help their opponents against them. While I'm anti-Chelsea on most things, I understand them on this. If we had drawn Crawley in the Cup while Ryan Peters was on loan there, I doubt if we'd have wanted him to play.

In the Premiership there is a bar on any loanee playing against their 'home' club - not sure if it's allowed in other competitions

Agree partly. However, they are a little like us, in that we have no cash so we get very low bids for players and they are at the other end of the spectrum. They have the cash, so they can pay double what the player is worth.

Some of their purchases have helped clubs in this country. I'm sure West Ham and Man City are very pleased at the cash they recieved from Chelski.

However, Jose Moanrinoh wants it both ways. He gets upset at the fees he has to pay for players, has a squad that any top flight club would give their right arm for and is still whinging that he hasn't been given funds to strengthen his squad in the Jan transfer window.:confused:

Jose, if the read GPG (which I am sure you do in order to pick up on tactics), a bit of advice, Shut Up, Move On. :sorted:

with such a shortage of centre backs now I wonder whether Chelsea may ever call on a reserve?
