Masters did v well. Slightly nervy start but made some great saves and plucked a few crosses to boot!! :sorted:

Well played Clark on a great debut, I admit I would have brought in a loanee for today's game. but it's great to be proved wrong. What happens on Tuesday night when the two suspended players can return, nice decision for Leroy to make.

Couldn't agree more...MA only had eyes for Nelson :love: but with the performance today of Masters, will give Leroy an option if Nelson starts making mistakes.

Good to see masters put in a performance to be proud of and keep a clean sheet. it must be a great boost to his confidence and at least we know we have another keeper we can rely on if/when Nelson cannot play.

Nelson - can't fault his bravery
Masters - One long shot, dropped, recovered.
Masters - Back four spent most of the game protecting him!
Masters - Kicks - One shank, one slice

Sorry, Masters did ok yesterday but he is nowhere near ready for a long run in the side.

Masters - Commands, Kicks
Nelson - No commands, sh*te kicks

Nelson has been doing alot of shouting at his defence in the friendlies.Also his kicking is now good.I think he should play on tuesday.The Swindon game is the one to use Masters.

Nelson kicks were sh*te because he was instructed by the last management team to kick wide...not kicked one ball wide in all pre-season friendlies.:sorted:

Not only that but i thought his kicking was generally very good, could be an effective weapon that :sorted:
