If that is the case, the four BU appointed directors of BFC need to be called to account for their failure to communicate with BU.

I suppose it's not surprising that the usual suspects have condemned this statement before taking a moment to reflect on what might actually be happening. Rogers is condemned for slicing lemons or condemned for doing the Chairman's job - he can only win by leaving. Yeah right - that's just what we want three months before the option expires isn't it?

The General Manager is now the Operations Manager - but this isn't good enough for the GPG vultures - only an illegal sacking at huge expense to the club (for which BFC and BU would be slated) would have sated their appetites.

I think it's time people got real. Would you prefer Ace Face to be running the club? Would you really?

FFS Ed, who put the likes of JM and RK into their new roles last summer...certain posters on here said it wouldn't work...it hasn't...yet we are now burdened with greater expense and for what...so Ron's mate can appear as a shinning light in an otherwise darkened room...the whole thing stinks...Ron is sat back laughing his b***ocks off...he has made mugs of BU and BFC...he will end up walking back in and picking up some serious money...and I have no doubts...CERTAIN CLUB DIRECTORS will as well...ANIMAL FARM

Yes, but everyone wanted him simply to slice the lemons. If they had been competent, then that would have been fine. I didn't say he'd emerged spotless from this episode, but I'd say the balance is hugely on the positive side.

Ed most Brentford fans didnt want him anywhere near the Club yet were lied to by BU and the likes of DW that he would only be a lemon slicer...like I've said...gutless, spineless, liars the lot of them and that does include AW as he is part of the Board. One can only assume he agrees with all thats go on from his silence.

That was the first thing that came to my mind when I read that Nigel - if this demotion means he no longer has any input into the day to day running of the club then surely BU have recourse to demand their 25K or whatever that was ponied up in the first place?

I don't think anyone should be sacked.

Those responsible should have the balls to resign as they are clearly not man enough for the job and well out of their depth.

If they are BU representives that are responsible, then BU should take them to one side and advise them to do the honourable thing.

This whole matter has had a very detrimental effect on BU and will ultimatly affect any possible take over of the club.

Our two highest gates of the season produced just over £300 in bucket collections. BU have put it down to lack of collectors - wake up and smell the coffee FFS.

Standing orders have been cancelled at a very critical time - perhaps its down to a possible interest rate rise/increase in oil prices/wind direction/fans having bad hair days.

What are BU going to do about?

As far as Eddie is concerned, a blah blah statement, outlining possible actions.

Personnally, I don't want to hear of possible actions, I want to see action.

We have a ticketing cock up of proportions that have done this club more damage than those at BFC and BU realise, a planning application that is drifting like an oil tanker. It should have been approved in January following consultation that never took place, then it was to be heard in March..........nothing.

The future of our club has been compromised by two very major cock ups in very very short space of time.

To be fair I stopped all of mine and my families funds going anywhere near BU after the going rate rise fiasco - where yet again many BU Board members threatened to resign just like this latest threat to resign. You know who you are.

If fans at BFC who have been lied to by the board and have seen the BFC board make our club look like a joke are happy with every thing being solved by a new Communications Director being created then carry on your loan notes and puttuing your cash in buckets. Thats your choice and good luck to you.

However I fail to understand why is everything is now so rosy and Altonwood Eddie is such a good guy now.

Lets look at the facts:
(1) No disciplinary case or action taken due to "honest mistakes"
(2) No reduction in salary for the incompetent JM - no one knows his salary, but is safe to say with Employer NI must be costing BFC £40,000
(3) No reduction in salary for the incompetent RK accept a job title change - he is on a very good salary, confirmed to me by JM. So lets say another £50,000 + car.
(4) Because the above two are useless we have to fund a CEO, when already we are losing £300k per annum.
(5) BFC have failed to acknowledge or reply to any of the allegations against them in the "Bias dossier". Yet again breaking the clubs charter.
(6) Two of the most popular members of staff are forced out because they have been shat on by BFC management.
(7) One of the very few BU Board members with any credibility has been forced to resign over the whitewash. Still Altonwood Eddie is on the case now.

Still Altonwood Eddie the lemon slicer according to BU - yet another direct lie to me - is taking a close control of day to day matters at BFC.

Altonwood Eddie is the man who wanted to move BFC to Poyle, nr Slough. I wouldn`t trust him to run my bath.

It looks like I am now in the minority, but please don`t go moaning on the GPG at the next cock up at BFC.

Been away from a few days, and the first thing I read when back online was Eddie Rogers' statement on the OS. Fair enough I thought. A bit of a cover up, but show me a Board that doesnt try to do same after some cock-ups. You can harldy expect them to knee-jerk out the supposed guilty parties (unfair dismissal etc), and with NLB joining the Board - his postings often make a lot of sense - hopefully things are moving in the right direction. Yes the Board still seem dozy and half asleep, but at least there is movement.

And then I thought... I bet one or two names on the GPG will be apoplectic about this, simply because certain club employees have not been hung by their b*lls off Kew Bridge. For no other reason, than they dont like them, and old feuds die hard. Surprise Surprise!!

It was pretty clear that there weren't going to be any sackings and resignations as these most likely would have come within a week of the ticket fiasco. It does appear now that there are more people willing to speak up about deadwood in the management structure at BFC. The good news is that with the appointment of a CEO he may look at the roles and duties within BFC and decide that a few of them are redundant, meaning that some of the deadwood walk away with statutory minimum redundancy if they do the HR stuff right. The bad news is of course that I'd guess that some of the people who might be considered deadwood will have a hand in deciding who gets appointed as CEO, can anybody remember the last time turkeys voted for xmas?

If we get the right CEO the club will go forward & progress and those calling for blood will eventually get their wish. If we choose the wrong CEO it will be no change, more costs and still making sure that Mr Cockup has a room always available at Griffin Park.

As a victim of RK/JM ticketing arrangements for Southampton away I think that hanging them by the cojones from Kew Bridge is just a start. Recent changes at GP do inspire some confidence for organisation behind the scenes but I have no confidence in our present board's ability to deal with Altonwood in May. I sort of agree with LDB but I wouldn't underestimate the levels of frustration building up around GP at the moment.

Surely the CEO deserves a place on the board. Far better to be there first hand and influence objectives, strategies and policies than be informed second hand later.
