Personally, I think AK and PF will go. :D

PF seems like a lovely fella but a lot of us have asked what he actually does apart from throw the players energy
drinks and a hug before and after the game.
I know he does a lot more no doubt but I don't have him down as a master tactician or the power behind the throne.
If they stay I'll be happy but if Uwe calls and they leave don't think we'll struggle to find more than adequate replacements.

Uwe moved Farrell down here to help with lil ole Brentford so I imagine young Peter is hoping for the call to join him at massive Wigan Athletic too. I see AK as Uwe's man too so I would expect him to go too.

I would be upset if PF went, saw what he does at the training ground... just in case opinions5u is stalking this thread for Saturday I wont say a word lol

In fairness I'm being slightly unfair as never seen him at work and know he's extremely popular. Based purely on the fact that he looks like your favourite uncle and shuffles rather than runs.

Would expect Warbs to bring in his own number 2,which will be a big call as as far as I know warbs hasn't been involved at the training ground during Uwe's time at the club.With PF and AK constantly watching their phone screens to see if they get the call from Uwe it's not an ideal situation short term.

Why do you think they would go? Isn't that part of the DoF model that appointments are not made solely by the manager and therefore we don't have the whole of the coaching team leaving lock, stock and barrel (e.g. Martin Allen).

Also why do you think :warbs: would bring-in another team over and above the one he has already approved/selected/appointed* (*delete as appropriate)

The way our club is now organised with Matthew at the helm is a million miles away from Brentford of old, should both our coaches want to move up north with Uwe, Let them have their wish, but I can't envisage any problems with filling their respective posts with coaches of the same or higher ability, for instance, the Spanish coach who previously worked alongside Frank McParland looks and sounds handy.

We as a club have moved on with great speed and purpose these last couple of years, as proved last Thursday at the Council meeting, no longer do we struggle to add quality to our staff, but appear to be attracting people who want to come and join us, as our overall long term plan is very appealing for all to see.

Oh how nice it is for us supporters to soak up "New Brentford" and all that lays before us, Happy days to come I feel!!!

if Whelan s cut the transfer budget for jan uwe wont have any dough for players let alone backroom staff ???

You've been on the red wine again,PF & AK were recruited by Uwe.When you have put the money in that MB has the rule book goes out the window and you can make it up as you go along ..quite rightly.

Peter Farrell has a wealth of knowledge and is very well respected by the players.

I would be disappointed to see him go. - it's those you do not hear of that often produce the most.

That kid has just bought a house in Wigan with his first months pay packet from Brentford. So he won't be around this christmas

I don't understand your reasoning. MB has been following the DoF model of which he has long been an advocate of. What are you suggesting, that he will suddenly change his mind and appoint different coaches that his DoF thought were good enough to employ but now as manager he thinks are sh*t and will want to bring in "his own men" :confused: Really? :confused:

I don't Reilly know what he does,but fair play to him,PF was sitting in front of me at the civic center supporting our bid last Thursday unlike the fan hater!

Uwe would have wanted both of them due to working with them previously so would have thought the DoS would have left that appointment there.unless you really think he would say "no Uwe I think they are sh*t ".I can remember reading that Uwe has the final say on all signings.Unless lve missed something there has been no announcement about the future of these 2.

Coppell taking most of our team and getting into the Premiership still haunts me.

You may find that Uwe chooses Gunnar Halle instead as his number 2. He was his AM at his previous clubs, but didnt want to come to Brentford at the time when Rosler got the job

IIRC correctly Halle didn't want to uproot his family and move to England. Of course that situation may have changed.

Pretty much all out of contract and had been told they weren't going to be offered new contracts. IIRC Coppell had also been told that he wouldn't be given money either to keep players at GP or to replace with similar/improvements so there really wasn't any point in him staying.

One man is to blame on all that.

Supporting the Bees has been a lot about daydreaming about what might have been. In a way it is comforting that Coppell and that core of players did so well. It would have ruined the daydreams if they'd gone on to be flops because it would have meant that even if our dreams had come true and Cureton had fluffed the equaliser so we went up automatically and he who shall not be named had relented to offer generous new contracts and a budget to Coppell to build (perhaps with Lita coming to us instead of Reading), it would have been to no avail.
