Spooky compared to last year how our 46th league game was ;

1. at home

2. in front of a large crowd

3. won by a young Bee star in front of the Wendy House bringing the ball inside the defender with his right foot and curling the ball round the keeper with his left

anyone remember Bournemouth at GP last season ?

Only thing that differed was where nocoat, Alex and many others watched the game :D

I lasted five minutes on Saturday and then back off to Stripes. The sight of that useless tw&t in goal for us, our worst ever keeper??, nearly made me leave :sorted:

"Wonder save ?" - oh the one where it was an easy save for an average keeper but the worst Bees keeper ever struggled with and in the end flapped and pushed it out for a corner !

He really is the worst ever :(

The PVC could not get into it last Saturday ... think we will make up for it against Wednesday Monday :o

No saw it on the screens in Stripes. Still trying to think of a worse keeper :sorted:

Don't waste too much time thinking, it could take a while.

Ashley Bays, by far the worst. And how about Murry Jones, worst striker we ever had.

Coincidences

Too right nobody could beat Ashley Bayes - a goalkeeper that couldn't catch the ball, what a unique quality!

Yes you could but he'd come on for the last 5 minutes at the Millenium, go up for a corner to score the equaliser in extra time and then save all the penalties in the shoot out.

As somebody near me said 'Great save, but it took him 3 minutes to get there'

Coincidences

He makes me laugh...just wouldn't like to have him in goal in a game that mattered

I always thought he was a pretty decent keeper (At home vs Wrexham  )

Oh and Alex Rhodes' goal against Bournemouth didn't he control it with his LEFT then curl it with his left? :nono:

Have a look at the reports on the Hereford - Stevenage Conference Play-off 2nd leg. His performance was described as outstanding. And as for George, I seem to remember that he pulled off some stunning saves at the Ealing Road end in his first game for us........and then it all started to go down hill. But it was a good save to keep that goal out on Saturday. Credit where credit's due.

Along with Bobby Trainor and Lloyd Blackman

If I was being charitable I would say it was all about money what with F'boro being relegated but I'm not charitable so I will just say Div 2 to not good enough for Rymans or whatever the league below Conf is called now in just over 12 months - What a fine judge of talent Mr Allen is
