Does anyone know whether the BBC online commentary tonight will work overseas? I'm planning to get up at stupid o'clock (4:45 am) to listen, but if it's not going to work, I may leave it until 6:30 to catch the last minutes on the GPG.

Doubt the BBC will work overseas, but seen as they are covering it on the web for the first time they may not remember to block overseas IPs. You might like to spend your waking hours researching proxies that will circumnavigate the IP geolocation.... or listen to BeesWorld instead.

You cannot get the BBC live here in Australia unless you have have the ability to make it appear that your internet connection is in the UK.

Won't BBC London be available on Beesworld today?

They used to syndicate the BBC Local Radio content a couple of years back whenever a team (Bees or otherwise) was being covered by the local station.

The tossers at Beesworld don't allow people with proper computers (ie Apple Macs) to access their services. Most of the time I regard this as their loss, but tonight maybe they have the upper hand.

Just double-checked on BBC London website as I used to rely on things like this when I lived in Japan. The schedule for tonight now shows "Full commentary from the Championship match between Charlton Athletic and Cardiff City". So I emailed Radio London and got the following response straight back (thank you to them for immediate response):

You will be listen to live commentary of Dagenham v Brentford on BBC London 94.9 and on DAB. Unfortunately, the commentary will not be available online.

This is from the horse's mouth, so as to speak, so I wouldn't rely on BBC London internet coverage.

You cannot get the BBC live here in Australia unless you have have the ability to make it appear that your internet connection is in the UK.

You need a VPN which provides a UK IP address, there a bunch out you there you can subscribe to, PM me and I'll send you the URLs or google it

BBC Radio link on the internet is working for me here in Manila. Launch in Real Player as a standalone link, works fine.
