Start today, I believe. Anyone tuning in?

It appears not... However, I have just remembered how gorgeous the lovely Paula Radcliffe is, and she's racing later, so that'll be worth a watch...

I bet Pandora's been watching the gymnastics a lot ;) :D (they all look they're 12  )

Commonwealth Games

Its been a God send over the last few days having to lie on the settee and rest ! Great timing, but I could of done with out the enforced watching through ill health ! No one seems to take the games THAT seriously do they ?

Commonwealth Games

Did anyone watch the 100 metre showdown on Saturday night. Was hyped up to be battle of the brits but what a let down. Feel sorry for Mark Lewis Francis, he was on for silver before his hamstring went. Less so with Chambers, expected him to breeze to gold, I thought he bottled it big time last night. After 60m he knew he wouldn't even come close to a medal, so to salvage pride I reckon he may have put on an injury. His coach said it was cramp, either he didn't warm up properly or its lies.

Commonwealth Games

Dan the Tree, have you no shame. Paula Ratcliffe is a right minger and runs with her head bouncing up and down like one of those nodding dogs you see in cars. I'm sure some of the birds at the games are spot on, but that skinny wretch sure aint one of them.

Commonwealth Games

Well Dan, did those knee length socks do it for you? And i thought the spit at the end of her race was particularly attractive.

Commonwealth Games

Paula Radcliffe may not be the most attractive woman in the world but he has just run one of the quickest 5000m ever, to win gold for England.

Dwain has been suffering with this problem for about the last month or so and has missed several meets. Don't reckon he would have put it on. If he was going to bottle it he wouldn't have raced in the first place.

what rubbish!! you may or may not know chambers has struggled with cramp for a few weeks, but from all his starts at the championships it's been apparent that he isn't able to push off as he'd like, and when he tried to surge thru at 50-60m you could see him grit his teeth and realise he couldn't.... very obviously injured

as for Mark L-F, felt really sad for him cos he could well have had gold, never mind silver!!

as for the lovely Miss Radcliffe, she looks rubbish when racing, but did u not see her interview afterwards... yum :) or her other interviews... she's really gorgeous, and plus as W.E.B says, she was sensational tonight!

absolutely hilarious, something she'll look upon with horror when she replays the video :D :D

Dan, she obvioously doesn't swallow so don't bother ;) :D :D

almost as bad as when Snady Lyle won the Masters and raised him arms above his head in triumph on the 18th. He was wearing a light brown t-shirt apart from a b1oody great sweaty dark brown patch under each pit - another crowning moment made 5hit :D :D

Someone probably told her Dan the Bee fancied her and was behind her.

As for the games I've found it to be more interesting and productive watching paint dry.

Wouldn't say gorgeous Dan but She's pleasent enough. Mr Dog thinks Lee McConnell is rather nice - Silver for Scawtland in the womens 400 I believe.

Ive enjoyed watching the games thus far - shame about Chambers :(

Maybe Dan stuck his tongue down her throat before the race ,then she ran like **** to get away from him, getting rid of some of his bodily fluid as she finished the race ?

You know what BigBee, I cant speak for the others, but I for one can only dream of being as funny as you!

Commonwealth Games

Its very unusual for sprinters to get cramp, almost unheard of, surely this is down to how one warms up. Expect long distance runners to get cramp. Its a shame for Chambers because he is a talented athlete, just think the pressure got to him.

Anyway sure Darren Campbell will make up for this and win gold in the 200m.

not so sure after his semi - think Fredericks is being touted as the nearest thing to a "certain" gold medal...

yately bee - i'd like to see you run 5000m and look good doing it!

it all makes sense now !

If I were you Yateley, it'd be backs against the wall for you when Gay Dan is around !

btw DtB 30-15 ! ;)

Commonwealth Games

I'm glad someone else picked up on that comment. Dan, would you like me to wear skin coloured knee length socks and nod manically too?

Just heard a classic double entendre too, swimming commentator just said; "Thorpe is stroking it so smoothly"

Sound familiar Dan?

I'm sure Dan has already tuned into Tammi Grey Wheelchairs site, Mr Whippy. For a raspberry ripple, she is one hot chick eh Dan? :lol

Commonwealth Games

I am going to the rugby sevens tonight at the commonwealth games, England V Australia pool match and a lot of others. Quite excited :bound: I have my england rugby top out to annoy the natives.

Am going to the semi finals of the ping pong on Saturday as well :bound:

I have no idea why I'm getting quite so excited, but I thought i'd dig up an old thread just for the hell of it.

Commonwealth Games

old threads are amusing lol

i MIGHT watch some of the basketball but think it's gonna be of an embarrassing standard lol

Commonwealth Games

Twas cracking, we beat the aussies. Am drunk and have no voice.

Commonwealth Games

I fail to see the point of these games any more. There are no Yanks, Russians, Germans or any other quality sports people competing from around the world so where is the real competition ? The only bits worth watching will be the athletics bit even then its more like the home internationals, England v Scotland v Wales v N. Ireland (v Isle of Man ??), not even Rep. of Ireland, and the Africans will walk (or run) away with the distance medals as usual. This morning turned on the TV to see some overweight Welshmen playing bowls nearly sent me back to sleep.

Besides the "Commonwealth" doesn't exist anymore does it ? many of these nations have seen the light and are trying to ditch HRH anyway.

Does anyone know why we don't compete as the UK?

And you had the brass neck to say F1 was boring....

"That's a Commonwealth Record" = 1234th position in the real world.

Death to Cliff Richard and Sue Barker's love child.

oh dear. :(

They did well to beat Fiji though. :sorted: They were big lean fast bastards, they looked like they were playing against hobbits when they beat wales.

Went to the mens table tennis last night :D

Got well into it, very sad. They got beat by Nigeria, brave performance though :sorted: I can report that England should be proud of it's ping pongers

Wales beat the Malaysians though :sorted:

Finals today, I will keep the GPG updated through the night, please feel free to show me your pockets. :)

Commonwealth Games

Oh and Singapore beat Aus, which filled me with joy as there were a few too many aussie accented Nigerians in the crowd :nono: They hang your drug smuggling children and beat you at ping pong you ****ers.

Commonwealth Games

Nice to see English and Scots show that Aussie swimming is not all its cracked up to be without Thorpedo.

My favourite so far has been the women's triathlon - I watched that on digital and the cameraman on the motor cycle kept getting close in shots while they were cycling. Some nice fit ladies there ...

Commonwealth Games

Anyone know when the mens traithlon is, I used to go to school with someone who was in the top three in the country at that ... dopey ****er but very good at athletics ... stuart hayes is his name...
