Congratulations

On your promotion, wanted to do this sooner but needed permission from the board to write here.

See you next season, cant wait to visit Griffin park :)

Congratulations

Bluebirds up Fulham and villa down. Don't let the side down....vincent tan out!!

Congratulations

surprised you got rid of MM, our pre-season friendly was a great game.. thought you would stay up with the attacking football you played, even though you were beaten by the better team ;)

I knew they were getting strict on everything at Cardiff but now the fans need permission to write on forums too!

Yes shouldn't have got rid of MM. Im glad you made it this year though, you've had so many near misses, reminded me of us in the championship.

Congratulations

Steven Caulker is a Bee he hates Fulham.

Congratulations

Whoever, I'll enjoy watching the play offs a lot this year, sitting back letting them fight it out.

That's right, theres no way we are keeping him at championship level though, hes a class defender

only because we went up ;) if he did play watch out for the own goals lol

Congratulations

looking forward to visiting cardiffs new ground next season......will be one of the main day outs for a lot :) and for all the brentford scaredy cats on here it aint what it used to be like, in fact their own fans complain about how 'nice' its all become down there ;)

Congratulations

Got to get my haircut for a wedding that day.

Congratulations

Rotherham have built up a lot of momentum - if I had to choose, I'd guess they're most likely?
Rotherham may be the most likely, Preston seem to have some Bees luvvies but Orient will be best for Brentford; they'll be the weakest.

Congratulations

Remember the last time we went to Cardiff .. got off the coach in the car park, to be greeted by ol' Bill who said, watch your backs when coming back to the coach after the game ! nice

Tan Out !!
Blue kit back and old badge please.
Looking forward to my only trip abroad next season.

Congratulations

Only seen us at Cardiff once - the 4-1 defeat in 1999. Yikes - don't think I've witnessed anything like it before or since.

Watching that terrace next to us going mental when they scored was something

And so was leaving the ground at the end !

Congratulations

I was at that Cardiff game as well. Seem to remember Herman booting it into the away fans (at the side) when he should have kicked it up the pitch. Cardiff scored from resulting throw and that was that.

I think I travelled from Uni in Southampton for that game, loooooong time ago!

Congratulations

Went watching AFCB at Cardiff in 2001, shortly before the Leeds FA Cup aggro. 'Hairy' was an understatement!! bottles, coins, the lot...

Is the Ra Ra massacre you refer to the 6-1 hiding we dished out at GP at the start of '66/67 (there was a 5-2 as well).I remember walking back on a real high telling my late father it was "our year ". Well we got relegated & they won the friggin' League Cup !! Oh well It was a memorable day & this IS our year & I'm bloody loving it !!!!!

One of the few advantages of my being a senile old wee smelling duffer.

Saw the 6-1, 5-2 and 3-1 drubbings of the scum and was at Ninian Park for the cup win

Yep, remember it really vividly. It was almost like watching a monster.

I seem to remember dads in the so-called 'family section' below us lifting their kids up so they could chuck coins and spit! I was on the official coach that day and I think we had a police escort all the way back to the M4.

Yeah I was there for that. Bit lively at the station on the way back. But those were the days of the brilliant football specials from Ealing Broadway. Party 7s and packs of long life beer the order of the day and were permitted then.

Congratulations

Also get your true colours back as well. Must be disappointing to see your club play in totally different colours at the whim of an owner. Thank goodness we have the
best owner we have ever had.

Its not the same, you'll always back your club but it's wrong. Cardiff will always be Blue

Happy Days ! The Cardiff game followed a John Doc goal beatng Millwall at Cold Blow Lane in the League Cup on a tues evening which ended something like a 60 odd unbeaten home record for them. Sufficient to say the locals got a bit restless. Carnage as I recall !!! Did I really say "happy days "?!

Remember that game well one of my best days as a Bee, despite being hit on the head by one of those old big pennies, by god did that hurt. Didn't care at the end though great journey on the way home Bees fans drunk the train dry with I might add no trouble either. Great celebrations.

I was at that one also best day I ever had with my late dad bouncing all the way home on the old 667 trolley bus

Yes I was there Drunk 30 pints of piss on the train saw a great win , back to the Bees Club at 9.30. Sober as a judge, drove home wondering if it had all been a dream. Those were the days

I was about 9 and we started off on a terrace until it went off big time when our first goal went in. Some coppers took me and my Dad round to the Stand and we got in with no extra payment being asked for! At the end, a Cardiff fan shook our hands and said, 'You'd better make a run for the station, the boys won't be happy after'
Probably the understatement of the year as we saw a car with a Bees sticker getting trashed and fights all over the place. My feet barely touched the ground until we got on the train and watched a heroic amount of beers being drunk.
The weather was terrible I remember-the groundstaff surfing around on wooden boards forking the pitch pre match.
Docherty and Neilson on the wings mullered them and the old free kick routine worked a treat!

Congratulations

Went to Staines Prep school. Nice lad from what I've heard about him. Even went back to open a new building or the like I believe.

Is there really a prep school in Staines? Lived there 26 years and never knew about - obviously too bloody common ;)

Its opposite the bloody common!
Just before you get to the railway bridge on Kingston Road. They wear yellow hats an unsurprisingly are therefore known as Yellow Tops. Toffee nosed little darlings for the most part.
