Its opposite the bloody common!
Just before you get to the railway bridge on Kingston Road. They wear yellow hats an unsurprisingly are therefore known as Yellow Tops. Toffee nosed little darlings for the most part.
Oh yeah, I remember the yellow uniforms! Wow, that's a memory that hasn't been stirred in a long time! Presumably, they all commute from Laleham!!
Congratulations on your promotion and good luck for next year. I thought we'd push you all the way, but your victory at Brisbane Road knocked the confidence out of us.
You've probably seen this spoof about Slade, but if not it's worth a look.

Looking forward to the play-offs, which was our aim at the beginning of the season. Not a lot of expectation that we will do well, but we're much better at being underdogs than front runners.
Up the O's.
Richmond o where have you been hiding ?? was it in the beehive,. derby arms, or the bricklayers pub ?

Is there really a prep school in Staines? Lived there 26 years and never knew about - obviously too bloody common![]()
Yes that was the longest walk back to a station i have ever had (in the pissing rain as well).Yeah I was there for that. Bit lively at the station on the way back. But those were the days of the brilliant football specials from Ealing Broadway. Party 7s and packs of long life beer the order of the day and were permitted then.

God I remember that day so well. I was 10 at the time and I thought I died and gone to heavan. Did Joe Bonson score acouple that day? He was useless actually but that day I loved himIs the Ra Ra massacre you refer to the 6-1 hiding we dished out at GP at the start of '66/67 (there was a 5-2 as well).I remember walking back on a real high telling my late father it was "our year ". Well we got relegated & they won the friggin' League Cup !! Oh well It was a memorable day & this IS our year & I'm bloody loving it !!!!!

Remember a steady stream of home fans being ejected throughout the whole match, The final gate figure was about half of the start of the match!
