Consortium?

Of course the world is made up of rich businessmen who would be more than happy to pour millions into a club with a p*ss poor support, with virtually no hope of a return on their investment.............Get real!

It is not a sound investment, but many have and continue to put money into money losing football clubs. How much has the bloke iat Peterboro put in and what is his likely return?
Some would do it just to guarantee a loss maker within their business portfolio that guarantees them a tax benefit on their profitible side.
BFC also have the added benefit of land value.

Enough small clubs have been taken over and had stadiums built for them. An all seater stadium in west London with proper facilities for business use is a gold mine. Some people play us down so much, we have loads of potential.

That's where we heading under the current management hopefully. Why do people see the need to change to new owners - particularly non-Brentford people who might not have the clubs best interests at heart.

Your wrong. He didn't accept Lionel Road was an option and his prefferred options were not available or feasible. His final option was a groundshare with Woking.

I think most sensible Brentford fans agree that this is the right direction. We do have some decent people on the board now but I still feel some should take responsibility for what has happened. We may not have very many options at the moment but they need to restore a bit of confidence in them with the fans. Saying we've reduced the loss is fair enough, but it's pretty obvious at what expense they've done this, just look at the state of the team.

If (once) the new stadium is built they'll probably have a very hard job keeping hold of the club.

Correct.

Several hundred more.

Plus, of course, the likes of Greenholme Bee and others committed to re-join a couple of weeks ago.

Well that's all OK then. Everything must be rosy and going in the right direction, it's just people like me who are out of step I presume?

Next stop Blue Square Conference! :sorted:
