i was at Lewes yesterday. Dobson scored twice but the first was an open goal - 2nd was well taken though.

Woking had a player in the middle called Keiron Murtagh who I believe was on loan from Wycombe. The kid absolutely ran the game and we could do a lot worse than to have a look at him as a prospect.

We have, sure he's been on trial with us before.

Yep, we did, when he was at Charlton I think, or Ipswich, a few years back. I thought he did okay and suprised we didn't offer him anything. Has since played against us for Yeovil.

He played for 90 minutes for us v Harrow Boro, the one where Adomah played for them and where Brooker (unused sub) had a pop at a few fans.:D

Dobson score again last night as the Cards beat 2nd placed Ebbsfleet.

He played up front for Yeovil at GP last season, nice touch no end product, the two who impressed that game were Caulker and Friend

I saw him Saturday for Woking v Farnborough in a terrific local derby in front of a season's best home crowd of over 2000.
He looked very good early on, but tired later, along with a few of his colleagues, as the heavy pitch, and the midweek game took their toll.
At times, him and Moses Ademola impressed but Woking , despite dominating most of the game , paid the price with Farnborough equalising in added time , and thus denting Woking's amazing recent defensive record, which would have been eight consecutive clean sheets in succesive victories...
I too was very impressed with Murtagh, sonofabee! Yep, Brentford could do worse than take a look at him. Scored a fine goal, and played very well indeed.

Thanks, I'm local and the Surrey Herald have been raving about recent performances so sounds like worth another look. My comment was based purely on what I saw last season in one game and certainly not anti or dismissing him as an opt

Thanks. Sorry, I did not mean my earlier posting to seem critical of your view.
I can see why the Herald have raved about Murtagh. I took a look at the match highlights on the Woking website this afternoon. I noticed that he also played an important part in the build up to the goal that he scored , on Saturday, with great aplomb. OK, it was in a lower grade than Div 1 or 2, but I still find it surprising , based upon seeing him for 90 minutes and reading some of those reports of his other performances recently, that Wycombe could spare him out on loan...

Our interest in Murtagh may well have diminished with the sacking of Scott. He had links with him from Charlton youth and then a spell at Leyton Orient. He could have signed another contract at Yeovil but decided on Wycome as he wanted to move back towards London. Not surprising that he is pulling the strings at Woking as he is very capable at playing at a higher level.

didn't charlie ide go to bromley? not listed in the squad... has he moved on again... i guess it was over a month ago...

Craig Dobson

Another goal for Dobson at the weekend, though Woking have only won once in their last 4 games - all since Murtagh returned to Wycombe.

Ide is still at Bromley, he played last week

Threw his toys out of the pram via facebook on Saturday
Alledging Kettering have missed payments and broken promises to him since a cruciate injury in August.

Says he knew something was odd when he got an oversize shirt at the start of the season.
